Well.... it's now just over 2 months since those lousy tubes were stuck in my ears.. the left one is still in, but today I started my 3rd round of anti-biotics since having the surgery. This time it's for a sinus infection though.. Just finished some amoxicillian on sunday, and now i'm on some new one that i've never had before.. can't even remember the name of it.. Only taken one of them so far and I feel a fair bit better already.

Doc says if these don't work then he'll send me back to the ENT specialist to get that right tube stuck back in.. if/when that happens I'll be sure to take a tube of krazy glue so that he can make sure that the tube stays in there..

All the very best to you.

my energy level is up a bit, and i havn't had many headaches lately.. but i'm guessing that will all go downhill again when these anti-biotics end on thursday :( Probably end up getting a tube put in my right ear again before summer is over..

Such a long process... :( That tube in your right ear must surely stay put this time! I have confidence that you are on the road to recovery. Wishing you to be well! Take care.:wavey:

Well... I'm on my fourth round of anti-biotics now.. another different kind. 20 days worth (at 3 a day), normal people only get 10 days worth.. I've also been instructed to start with 3 a day and work my way down to maybe 1 a day. I guess Doc just wants to keep me alive with them until I get back to the specialist. He's booking an appointment with him for my return, and to get another appointment to get the tube stuck back in my right ear..

So, I guess by Fall, I should be feeling good :(
