Multiple lottery winners

I am curious regarding multiple lottery winnners. Are there any multiple lottery winners in this forum? What are their winning strategies? Do they consider themselves "lucky"? How do they utilize their "luck" to their advantage? Any other insights?

I have read about a lady in Edmonton who has one major jackpots four times. I have also heard of others winning multiple times. When I say win, these few select people have won major prizes.

Yeah, I knew a guy, a friend, who had parents that won a major Ontario jackpot - twice. The same jackpot, won again in the space of a few years, totally by chance (the numbers were not chosen by them - it was like an Encore (I'm trying to retain anonymity here)). No winning system involved. Sometimes lightning does strike in the same place twice.

As for other people, I don't know.

(I just can't seem to help myself. I've become addicted to this site.)
I thought about this some more and - how big were the jackpots?
4 times winning major jackpots is a lot .
I think this can't be just by chance. She must have something or some system going for her. Can you ask questions from sources in the know, by any chance?
OK, I'll shut up again now.

St. John’s couple beats the odds — twice

Lori MacDonald & Bobby Rideout
Goulds, Nfld. & Lab.
$1,000,000
Lori MacDonald and Bobby Rideout of Goulds, just outside St. John’s, Nfld. & Lab., are twice lucky after claiming the $1-million top prize on ATLANTIC 6/49 for the Saturday, April 17 draw. Back in 2001, the couple won $2.5 million playing Lotto 6/49.

The winners join a very select club of Canadian lottery players who have won such large prizes more than once, and are the first Atlantic Canadians to do so.

Mr. Rideout says that life has been a whirlwind since the weekend. “We called the local lottery telephone line for the winning numbers, and when we realized we’d won $1-million, we started calling our family,” explained Mr. Rideout. “It took a while for it to sink in that we had won a jackpot again.”

The couple has been too excited to sleep the past couple of days, and has been busy making plans for the windfall. “We plan to share with our family, and will continue to enjoy our time off,” added Ms. MacDonald.

This is the third $1-million prize awarded on ATLANTIC 6/49 in Nfld. & Lab. since the game began 18 months ago. The province has been on a lucky streak lately – a Set for Life top prize was awarded in Corner Brook last week.

The winning ticket was purchased at Bidgoods Supermarket in Goulds, Nfld. & Lab.

multiple wins

I have won" pick 3" 8 times in 4 weeks but that hardly counts for a "jackpot".How has everyone else done here ?my biggest win was 250 dollars and I dont think i will ever do any better than that.Anybody know if my state will introduce anymore drawing games soon? The lottery is new here and they only have scratchoffs, powerball and evening pick 3.

Lotto is an alternative form of tax. Sometimes I get a return.

I have won a 5 of 7 twice in the last 6 months on Super 7. Twice the prize was $145. I know its not much but it is nevertheless multiple winnings. To make it more repetitive (and strange), they were both times Quick Pick selections because the wheels simply gave too many combinations to make any reasonable bets money-wise.

Another multiple winning if I can call it so, is what happened lately to me. Because a Jackpot was only 2.5 millions (peanuts really!) I chose to bet just $2 worth of Quick Picks (3 combinations) and I won a free ticket, this routine lasted 4 weeks (cash in a free ticket - win another free ticket).

Should see if you can get a rebate from the tax department for donating money towards all the losing lotto tickets.
