LT, how about...

Hi tomtom

Good ? - we used to have that feature enabled ie allow member to delete own posts.

But when that feature is active a member could remove all their posts out of the threads leaving conversation gaps that would make the thread unreadable.

Now it is set so that a member can edit their own posts - for up to 1 hour I believe and if there is a duplicate post (these glitches happen all the time in forums) then members just note that and ask for removal and I delete the second copy of the double post. :)

It is a wise way to operate...You never know who might do such a thing... Could also being used as somekind of warning signals for dark clouds on the horizon... :D In any cases it surely cuts of the weed right from any abuser of this board... :agree: :agree2: Keep it as it is LT! :agree2:

LT, it looks like members can edit posts for up to more than an hour.

Here is a recent example from a members post:

Thanks Dylan for that info - maybe it is set for 24 Hrs?
I'll check and make sure it is set for a long enough time to make corrections and edits.

Dennis - good advice as always :agree2:
