allowing deleting a duplicate or such posts feature among the other editing ones?

Good ? - we used to have that feature enabled ie allow member to delete own posts.

But when that feature is active a member could remove all their posts out of the threads leaving conversation gaps that would make the thread unreadable.

Now it is set so that a member can edit their own posts - for up to 1 hour I believe and if there is a duplicate post (these glitches happen all the time in forums) then members just note that and ask for removal and I delete the second copy of the double post.

It is a wise way to operate...You never know who might do such a thing... Could also being used as somekind of warning signals for dark clouds on the horizon... In any cases it surely cuts of the weed right from any abuser of this board... Keep it as it is LT!

LT, it looks like members can edit posts for up to more than an hour.

Thanks Dylan for that info - maybe it is set for 24 Hrs?
I'll check and make sure it is set for a long enough time to make corrections and edits.
