I have xp and excel 2000, downloaded the program with the txt file for s7 and it works well. However, when I downloaded the txt files from Nicks site for 6/49 and keno it did not load properly. Everytime I tried to load both files a message appears "Error 13 (type mismatch) in procedure File_LoadDataBase of module mDataBase"!. Does anyone have any suggestions how to correct this problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This error occurs with large data files - like 649 and keno.

Nick is looking into this - he can comment further.

The fix is to ignore the error - until Nick has a fix - and manually enter the params in row 2

So, for example 6/49
2115 in A2
649 in B2
49 in C2
and spin 7 into D2.

Everthing should be fine after that. :agree:

Sorry Beaker I am new using excel spreadsheets. Therefore, what I understand is, do I load the 6/49 txt file first and then ignore the error message. After, I go into the sheet and make changes. Please, let me know thanks.

I thought that I did fix this error.

I'll give it another try to identify why xl2000 indicates Type Mismatch

The large file does not matter, it is the
mismatch that causes the error.

I finally was able to enter the data for 6/49. How do you input the data for Keno txt into the lotto program. Thanks.

Using Excel 2002

This format works nicely:

2924,30/04/2004,2,3,6,7,14,15,23,28,29,30,35,42,51,52,53,54,57,65,69,70
2925,01/04/2004,8,11,13,15,18,19,21,28,31,34,35,40,42,47,48,50,60,62,67,70
2926,02/04/2004,3,6,9,11,12,23,31,34,35,36,38,46,48,49,54,56,61,62,64,68

The above is from ON Keno. I was also able to input a BC Keno file of about 25,000 draws (a years worth) without a problem, it had the same format except the date includes time also.

660834,5/2/2004 0:45,2,6,9,13,14,18,20,26,35,37,39,47,53,55,57,61,68,69,70,71
660835,5/2/2004 0:50,4,7,11,13,19,24,26,30,31,34,36,40,42,44,55,57,63,66,73,78

The prog recognizes the draw ID # rather than date I think.

I checked it with sypatico's lottery result. I know sometimes it may be wrong also. I don't know what your source is. Would you please take a look?

thanks.
