Liquor Stores Open Sunday 1/28/05 (Doug Learning)


Add liquor stores to the list of shops that are now open on Sundays. Government brought in the necessary legislation late last year, and the stores will be open on Sundays beginning this weekend. Most NLC Stores will be open from noon till 5pm. Stores on Stavanger Drive and Pearlgate in metro, and in Stephenville will open earlier. President and CEO Steve Winter says the move reflects the liquor corporation's commitment to customer service.
