Keno, how good is this game?

And how much is possible to earn with just $1?
It seems that for each $1 the winning ticket will get around $250.000,00.

The total winning pool can't excess 3 million for all winning tickets ...

So a $5 ticket would get around $ 1.25 Million and a $10 ticket would get around $2.5 Million. Only some problems , how much winning tickets there would be in any possible draw? This could limit the daily prizes ...

The total pool is $4million per day not $3m.
$1 will buy you a theoretical chance to win. But you have to invest quite a bit more than than that for a decent shot at any of the prizes.

Keno, it is a temptation.
I am inclined to try the Atlantic Keno and the Australian Keno.
This seems to be a sweat game ...

It's an exciting lottery. Some people actually make a profit on Keno.
Always review the stats for previous game before playing.

sneaky Keno comissioner would probably change the numbers anyways, so you couldn't win the bigger prizes. since its highly likely they do that with our smaller wins already. (putting up the results later than usual at times)

Definitely there is some tampering with numbers (Ont Keno).
I think they check the money in the pot first, if sales are low they adjust the numbers accordingly, easily done as they have all the combos that people played in their system before they draw the winning numbers.

Yes, when they are late posting the results you can almost guarantee that they will come up with weird numbers.

anyone trackin number distribution & expected probability?

I do for the CA pick3 games...in a 12 draw sample I noticed TWO instances of a 0.01% overall probability. They aren't happy simply "rakin in revenue" fair & square, they'd rather get greedy and take it from the players.

when I see such crappy draw performance, I refuse to play. if I see an anomally every now & then fine, but 2 in such a short span o time, BS!

That's the point blitzed - sometimes Ontario Keno results defy all laws of randomness ! Once in a while, fine, but a few times a week ?
Then you have to start asking questions.

Keno...oh boy...

keno keno keno...what can I say?

The only way you can win 2.4M is if you play category 10 for $10... as long as the game has been around there has only been one person to have won...they had his blurb on www.olgc.ca... because he recently won $50k on keno (don't you hate it when people win big twice?).

I play different ways... there is an awesome random number generator that I like to use at www.random.org with it I generate random sets of 6, 7, 8, or 9, 10 and play a mix of these... my best luck so far has been with the category 8 but not yet the top prize...missed it by one number recently.

This may sound very odd but I've been tracking the draws and keeping track of how many numbers repeat each draw.. most of the time it is 5, 6, or 7 repeats.. when the repeats are low for a couple of draws ie 4 or 3 then I actually take the numbers drawn in the last draw and wheel them into sets of 6, 7, 8, 9, and even a couple of lines of 10.

I also like to play a couple of category 5 and 6 with numbers only in the 1's 10's 20's 30's 40's 50's or 60's because it seems to happen frequently (especially with the 30's) that 5, 6 even 7 from these groups play in one draw.

In the past few months there have even been 2 draws where 10 of the numbers repeated from the previous draw...yes 10.. it's wierd... 7 is not uncommon, neither is 8.

Another thing I started to do with keno is I generated 10 numbers using random.org then I play it for 10 draws in a row - I have not won anything but my money back so far..

I'm hoping that playing the repeats will work because that's what I'm doing tonite because only 4 repeats played last night.

So I've tried a bit of all these methods...now when I feel like playing Keno I spend a couple of bucks on each method.

I'm thinking that playing the same set each day over a period of time might be the way to go... I'm doing this with category 10 but category 8 or 9 might be better.

Anyways, good luck to you.

Interesting approach. I agree with you that advance play might be
a good approach
Lately, I am switching most of my plays to advance.

Here is something for you to consider in your selection.
When you look at the Keno card Ont keno #s are more predictable in a horizontal direction than in a vertical direction:

meaning for example:
10,20,30,40, 50,60,70

are more predictable than 60-61-62-63-64-65-66-68-69-70

Meaning on an average you will have at least 2 numbers from each horizontal group.
Now if one horizontal group is short;

eg: 4,14,24,34,44,54,64

expect some over -compensation in the days to come.

In the 4# game, this strategy has won me $$s dozens upon dozens of times
The only problem is sometimes the waiting period for the numbers to hit is too long.

Btw..I am not sure about your focus on repeats, because on average there are 6 ? Not enough to provide a sample.

If you go to ilottery.ca
and under Frequency Charts
and set the draws 4 days, you will find about 80%
of the numbers come from 0-1 hit group every night.

Hope this helps !

hi Veronica, did you download & install OpenOffice? The KENo_Ods spreadsheet should open in OpenOffice Calc.

Anyway, you should be able to click Start, All Programs, Open Office, Open Office Calc to load the file.

also I saved an XLS file for Microsoft Excel if you have that program. I have no idea how it will look, but you can grab this file and try...
KENO.xls
http://crazynuts.hollosite.com/lottery_spreadsheets/

If you still have problems, then I can simply try importing it into a Google spreadsheet for you :)

seeya,
blitzed
