How many training in 14 games in 4 markers?
So we have 14 rows column 1 middle column and columns 2 (1x2)
Where only one marking is considered
We have 14 lines in 4 markings, how many are possible and what are they?
Combine the amount of column 1 and column 2 the column of the medium that is in green is the reference does not enter the combination
Objective = is to use the two end columns, the middle column is not used in the calculation
* The macro has to do automatic when you choose the marking amount of each column
* Ex = I choose 5 markings in column 1 and 4 markings in column 2
The macro has to calculate how many combinations from 1 to 14
5 in column 1 and 4 in column 2

I know Im going to regret asking this question, but as usual it is very unclear what you are asking for.

Keeping it SIMPLE.

1. Are you asking for a macro to count how many RED cells there are in each of columns B and D ?

YES or NO ?





2. What do you mean by COMBINATIONS ? Do you mean if there are 5 reds in column B and 4 reds in column D then multiply them together to make 20 combinations of highlighted cells over 2 columns??

Or do you mean 5 from 14 =COMBIN(14,5) (in column B) AND 4 from 14 =COMBIN(14,4) (in column d)
so answer = COMBIN(14,5) x COMBIN(14,4) =2002 x 3003 = 6012006 ?

Hello, Frank, when you opt for 4 games in column 1 and 3 games in column 2
* Obviously in the middle column we will have 7 games these 7 games maximum
* Up to 3, followed, we can define the middle column as the base.
