Mario Beaulieu an ex-senator is that person..He actually invented Lotto-Québec...
He died a few years back... He suffured a stroke while playing golf in California...He survived the initial stroke but lost his short term memory..his long term memory was still intact though...
After a while it took its toll and he passed away...
I'm still in touch with one of his boy, we often go fishing together..and I don't pass any holidays season whithout seeing him...
That guy could buy you and sell you for credit...He owns many big companies here and in the U.S. ...He almost bought the golf club of ''La vallée du Richelieu' where some prestigious tournament takes place from time to time...Not that he wanted the golf club ...but he needed to buy in order to pay less taxes..It gives you an idea...
We once went together to ''La Seigneurie du Triton'' a big Fishing lodge where even some U.S. presidents went for fishing trips vacations...It is located near La Tuque in Atikamek territory...
No wonder I had that scoop about changes in 6/49 way before anyone else...

My focus is the period that saw the lottery legislated in Ontario and the promises that the goverment of the day made to the people in order to get their way.
Our health care in Ontario is in financial crisis and yet billions of dollars are being siphoned off to who knows where!
I am just trying to collaborate my recollection of that time.
I am hoping to fing newspaper articles etc. of that period showing the government promising that our health care system would be taken care of.

In Canada, if we just look at their "track records", no government, and no party can be trusted.
The only government that could be trusted would have to be made entirely of members who first to go through specific tests on honesty, greediness, loyalty, double-standards, impartiality (you get the picture) with lie detectors included, to make sure they qualify to be "the right stuff" as an absolute requisite to be legally admitted in the election campaign in the first place.
That would get rid of the clowns and wannabees we see campaining today. That would have better chances to give us an "untouchable" government. If you want to be the top, you've got to test as the top in the first place.
