I am curious if anyone actually has hit the jackpot in 6/49 or the rest with all these average, sum, draw no., einstein theory blah, blah etc.... Every week some hero or heroine has the honor of being crownned as the coolest picker in 6/49 picks and the rest. But seriously, besides being JUST a coincidence..has anyone mathematically WON?.

No clue on jackpots but I have seen a few sets while I have been here that have seen pools of numbers that have had all the winning numbers in them in them.
BTW wording your post that way is gonna piss alot of people off. Just because you don't believe a statistic or piece of data is important, doesn't mean that it isn't relative to someone else's strategy or method of playing the lotto. I don't know if you realized it, but the way you worded your post, it has basically insulted anyone who has posted on this site.
This is a lotto site, where people discuss ideas and theories, and strategies. As for people having nice picks, good for them. I don't think they are posting to be what you have termed the coolest picker of the week. They wanna win the jackpot like everyone else and if they have nice picks that week they should be congratulated. Seems to me your looking for a magic bullet theory to winning the lotto, which you will not find. No one bats a thousand in baseball, if they are hitting 300 they are considered to be doing very good. In this forum your looking for new ideas to try, or strategies that will help you in your number selection. That with a little luck on how you populate your wheel and you may have a shot at the Magic combination of numbers that will give you the gift of financial freedom and time. People here want to reduce the odds by wheeling and using strategies. If your not here for that, your gonna be depending on dumb luck if you are not using a system.

Coincidences..??? Well I understand how frustrated you and some large pool posters are if you and they loose all the time...(Even by having a lot on target from a large pool) But in my case ...Coincidence is a big word... When you hit your hints on target for a full month from very few numbers posted without missing ....posting in two or three lotteries...Super 7 and 6/49....or having about only one miss in about two months or so...So I do not feel that your post is intended to me here....Because your question is not clear and badly formulated....The idea is not if you won the Jackpot (Wich I did in the Croatian 6/49 lotto from a small set of 12 numbers) by posting just a few but if you loose all the time...And I do not loose!! And as long as you hit some dead on from a very small pool...you greatly increase your chances at more...Jackpots included!! And there are no ''Coincidences'' in that fact...But you are right about one thing some are posting a lot only to be crowned coolest of the week only... (Not all of them tough...Some are thinking that this way of playing increases their chances of hitting big and I respect this strategy even if I do not endorse it..)rajeev28 said:

Honestly though, it is all in good fun and ultimately for the glory of a possible lottery win!

seriously, do you expect a million $$ winner to scream it out??? So then they can get harassed by tons of ppl wanting $$ and lotto help? When they'd rather be shopping and partying? There have been & are lotto millionaires here, but you have to pay attention to find them. & why do you want to know? Something you want to ask them? Or do you just want proof that *systems* work? If that's all, then reading the 6/49 thread will show you weekly winners. Which is proof.
BTW, I saw Demi on Dave & I am SO much more prettier than her! Her forehead is all flat, it looks weird. Plus she's older than me.

you guys were right about being frustrated, as I spend a lot on the recent 6/49. Actually picked all numbers from the 6/49 picks thread. None were mine, always get the other "next" number than the one I pick. I use LottoPRo sometimes but have not fully understood the strategies.

rajeev28, you play Super7 and claim to win there - keep playing that one. Frankly, I have never won much with that lotto - hit 5 numbers once on a QPik.
Play what you win with and perservere. We all get frustrated but one thing about lotto - there's always another draw.
If you feel the need to bash all the stats we produce here - turn the machine off and come back another time. You're not likely to find this analysis anywhere on the net for Can6/49.
Touching on your note Beaker, I hope the people who read the posts and information here do not take all we say as gospel. And plse, playing the lotto is gambling, so do not bet above your means, if you do this losing becomes that more frustrating, bet within your means, and have fun!

I've never heard of the 6/49 lotto (although that may be because I live in the US) but so far, I have usually found that the best way to play for me is just to ask for a Quick-Pick. I figure that whatever numbers the machine spits out is as lucky as any.
Although I have no doubt that the various mathematical methods used here increases the odds of winning, there are no guarantees. As the Bruce Almighty movie pointed out, if there was a sure fire way to win the lotto with only a few bets, then there is no way that a person could win the big million dollar jackpots, because everybody would be winning.
Maybe it is just me, but I find that playing the lotto is more fun that the casino. Perhaps its because of the possiblity to beat the (extremely miniscule) odds and to be a millionaire literally overnight.
