Full-Spectrum picks (sets) - how to isolate the winning line

To DAVET

Hello DAVET

I am in Fla and play the Fantasy/5 5/36 game. Would your methods work for this game? Where can you point me to for an explanation of what you do?

Thanks

I see a 5/36 link there. Go to that and try the Sets of Full Spectrum Picks??

Thanks
Turtle0747

hiya Turtle,

yes, you can watch full-spectrum sets to see how they'd perform forya. the absolute worst they'd do is have 5 picks each matching one of the draw numbers. that is a great feeling compared to crappin out with ZERO draw numbers from quickpicks or whatever.

I'm sorry...didn't know Florida's Fantasy5 is 5/36, wow! and $200k minimum jackpot! California's Fantasy5 is 5/39 and the minimum jackpot is $50k, but CA is pari-mutuel so if other people win, then the pot is shared, what a rip off!

anyway, I whipped up 5/36 9x4 matrix forya:

cheers!

Hi DaveT
"bloubul - I'll see what I can do about putting something together in spreadsheet form -( I assume you mean my analysis grid of recent draws, and the patterns I look for.) Yip you got it on the nail. You can upload it on www.mytempdir.com and post the ID and password here for me.

"Bluobul - are you asking to put up a half share of the regular stake, in return for a half share of any winnings accrued?

I see you are in South Africa - I'm in the UK, and only play the UK lotto 649.

You would have to wire the money over to me each week - or wire an agreed sum for , say X number of week's entries.

Maybe we should draw up an agreement?"

Why not? draw up an agreement and get it to me.

Hello Blitzed

Thanks for the info. Do you use any history to come up with numbers?

Thanks

hiya turtle,

I mostly play pick3. however, some of the same strategies can apply to fantasy5...track number distributions & probabilities, set a threshhold to filter out numbers that aren't as likely to be drawn.

cheers!

Hi blitzed

Please explain this formula to me and what it is supose to give:=B(14,1/70,0)
cause all I get in Excel is =Name?. It comes from your KENO spreadsheet.

Hi DaveT
What happened to you???? I'm still waiting an answer from you.

hi bloubul,

the KENO spreadsheet is done in Open Office Calc, and unfortunately the B function doesn't translate into Excel. I just slapped that spreadsheet together hopin that someone would be able to use it and pick up where I left off...I only set it up for 14draws so that I could test it...could be expanded out further, and plenty of extras could be added.

This is an example of what the columns from the KENO sheet should look like, showing the probability that a number will be drawn X times, and the percentage that is currently covered by the field.

%Field? %Prob? Times Number Drawn
85.50 81.76% None
10.43 16.59% One
3.07 1.56% Two
0.71 0.09% Three
0.14 0.00% Four
0.14 0.00% Five
0.00 0.00% Six

This is another example probability chart, but across all 20 slots...number drawn X times in 14draws.
20of70 14draws
0x 0.90%
1x 5.04%
2x 13.10%
3x 20.96%
4x 23.06%
5x 18.45%
6x 11.07%
7x 5.06%
8x 1.77%
9x 0.47%
10x 0.09%
11x 0.01%

This is directly from the Open Office Calc help file:
B
Returns the probability of a sample with binomial distribution.
Syntax
B(trials;SP;T_1;T_2)
Trials is the number of independent trials.
SP is the probability of success on each trial.
T_1 defines the lower limit for the number of trials.
T_2 (optional) defines the upper limit for the number of trials.
Example
What is the probability with ten throws of the dice, that a six will come up exactly twice? The probability of a six (or any other number) is 1/6. The following formula combines these factors:
=B(10; 1/6; 2) returns a probability of 29%.

cheers!

DaveT: I've tried to understand your method of choosing and have spent many an hour scratching the little hair that I have left. I thought that if I gave you some #'s, you could give me an idea where i could go from. Here are the latest 15 lines of Ontario49 and beside it will be blitzes line of 9 #'s. I put them on Excel and sorted them out sequentially.

blitzed: We were thinking of taking a trip to Florida in the coming months. I see that you have done many of your # configuration for the 49s, 47s, 39s, 36s, and some that I can't remember. Could you do one more for the Florida Lotto 6/53. Thought that we could try Dave T's method a traial and see how his method work in the Panhandle.

hiya madam, I already had the Florida Lotto 6/53 pages made, I was just to lazy to link them in the menu on my site:

Blitzed, I use your website, to generate numbers to try for lotto 649, atlantic 49, and keno, and super 7 draws.

I haven't won much yet, or a jackpot.

I feel discouraged alot, but I will not give up yet.

:lphant: I have been playing Atlantic 49 lately because it is less expensive then 649. As well as the other lotteries when I can.

Hi blitzed,

I am also still using your excellent site for my UK lotto system.- particularly the 9 X5 full spectrum matrix you kindly added.

I'm still searching for that elusive 6-number match (for the next draw in time, ofcourse), but over the last few months I have spotted no fewer than 20 lines containing 6 numbers (or 5+bonus) for a recent draw.

I still feel it's only a matter of time before I spot the winner and enter it as a full wheel.

(I've had a few 3 or 4 number matches along the way, and won on those)

So please keep your site fully accessable, I need it more than ever!

hiya DaveT, you are most welcome.

my website is on free hosting...outages are rare, but I know it is annoying when they do happen.

I may try to make standalone program containing some basic features of the site.

it'd likely be very primitive:rolling:but hey just as long as it works!

now if I can only find my notes..,I already had some of it worked out a while back.

cya,

Any updates on this?? I tried testing a full spectrum 5 by 9 matrix with past half a year's draws and the best I got was a 4 number line.

Hi Flexalong, been a long time since I've seenya around!

Anyway, I haven't had time to mess around with my ideas for a stand-alone program...also my computer crashed bad so I'm usin another one and I haven't got around to re-installing compilers and re-organizing my files and all heh!

I have created a new complex random number routine, but I haven't programmed it into anything yet. Perhaps I will make a new version of the matrix sometime...I think I'll be too busy much of this weekend tho.
