I'm a bad person for not catching up on all the major reading before posting, but would like to suggest this.

In order of recent draws:
2 draws ago these hit: 17, 8, 9, 13, 34, 44
3 draws ago these hit: 10, 33, 35, 42, 45
4 draws ago 2, 5, 18, 21, 36
5 draws ago 1, 8, 21, 27, 33, 34, 36
Odds are no more than 4 and maybe as few as 2, of the above should hit. Average would be 3.
My picks of these:
2 - 17, the 8!, or the 9 a good possibilty and a good pick, 34, 44
3 - 10, the 35,
and yes, even the 42, perhaps 45,
4 - 2 - ho hum, but 5 OK, and the 21 is looking OK.
5 - Of 5 draws ago, the 1 looks like a long shot, but the 8
and 21 still looking good, 27 looks good, & 34 (less so the 33, and the 36).
Number that hit in same draw, i.e. 3 & 3, or 4 & 4, for example,
drawn previously like to hit together (but you probably already know this).
The rest of the numbers will be cold.
A caveat, high probability most of the numbers that everyone thinks will win, won't... therefore choose numbers that are "not logical" - ("the law of perverse lottery logic") in other words. That is, choose #'s no one else choosing. This includes your own best numbers. But on the other hand, chosing just a few numbers that seem to be popular with the best players and playing those as well, seems to be a good idea.
This is trying to be helpful based on almost a year's worth of
observation of how things have gone in the past here. for Jackpot lotteries anyway. ("The trend is your friend"!
