Fantasy 5 help please

I’m not a math whiz nor do I know anything about computer software. I’m a shade tree lottery type player. I have been trying to capture the elusive pairs and triples for twenty years now. The bottom line is…. I can’t. I have attempted to skin the lottery cat thousands of ways. The bottom is….I can’t.

I will present what I’m doing in hopes of one of you will be able to see what I’m doing wrong. First off I’m 68 and suffered a stroke some 11 years ago crippling my typing skills and recently had open heart surgery this past Jan. Oh OK I’m a Georgia USA boy.

That said; let me show you what I am doing. First off I have evolved into a visual type guy. In other words I’m a chartist. While viewing posted chart keep in mind I have divided it into important sections. Date started, lottery number (MONEY NUMBER), Next line, date charted, then work sheet being divided into three parts, with low numbers on left (wing) matched (MONEY numbers) in the middle of the page and high numbers on right (wing) side.

When I start charting I go back twenty or so days then I will only record the winning numbers when it/if matches two or more numbers MONEY numbers. If no match I go to the remaining charts. As this will quickly evolve into 15-20 charts as it evolves. Don’t fret now….it takes about 2-3 minutes to chart all charts. (It’s very easy and fast)

While charting you will see some lousy charts, those are the numbers to steer away from while selecting playing numbers. The posted chart is an average at best, while the HOT charts will have many more hits. Please note while this chart is average it captured four numbers in a field of twelve numbers on 3-8-10. Then again it captured four numbers in a field of 15 numbers on 3-27-10, and it also captured all five numbers in a field of 15 numbers on 3-31-10.

Being retired I can’t play a wheel of 12-15 numbers every day, I’m forced to only play 7 numbers max $4-$5 a game. Again I play by sight and feel, not wheels. Cuss, those 4 0f 5 wheels cost me a major jackpot back in the early 90s.

Please note date of chart, around then was the last I played, (not this chart). I missed the jackpot twice in 6 days having all 5 numbers in a field of 7 numbers. Rats!

One more time only match the winnings numbers under the MONEY numbers. The left and right wing numbers will take care themselves. Only post wing numbers after matching MONEY numbers.

Please notice all charts, as one chart may give 2-3 numbers and another chart may also give 2-3 numbers. Another chart may adopt one of your MONEY numbers and while appearing cold on one chart it may be very hot on the other chart.

OK I know it’s a see and feel type thingy and you will see the lottery is like the tides it ebbs and flows, so be willing to back off when you see it going out to sea. Then jump on it again after it hits once…..and play for a couple or 3 days to see if it hits again. Again it’s a see and feels thingy. I would stop playing a chart after it has hit 11-12 times, unless you see it’s getting hot.

I have been reading this forum for a few years now and know for a fact that there are some elitists posting on this site and hoping some of you will be so kind in helping me to narrow this field of 12-15 numbers down to seven numbers on regular bases. Thank you very much for taking the time to read and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Solutions anyone?

hi fatjack, neat...too bad the tricky trout draws have been slippin through your fingers though!

you boil the number field down to 15...over time, perhaps probabilities can be tracked for each of those 15slots, to estimate which ones are due to hit?

another thing, you might consider plugging your 15numbers into this...to let it pluck out some picks, from all the combinations:
http://crazynuts.hollosite.com/lotto_matrix_wheel/

or try using this:
http://crazynuts.hollosite.com/my_lottery_quick_picks/

anyway, when I have time I will have to look into your dcharting idea for my Fantasy5 game here in California.

cheers!

blitzed, thanks for the web site, those matrix wheels looks promising. I started today building a set of charts and if any looks half way descent I will post. If not I will wait until they start to mature around the 7-8 hit. Some charts start slowly then half way through their cycle they speed up. I don't play until the 7-8 hit.

Again thank you very much.

hiya fatjack, just got back from fishin a while ago, no time to play with numbers today.

cool, you are most welcome...goodluck with the Lotto Matrix Wheel...I made that to give people more control, since full or conditonal wheels get expensive especially for pick5, and it is hard to reduce to a practical bet.

the expanded version would let you pick up to 4numbers for each ballslot ifya wanted:

I'm still using my old lotto programs that are over twenty years old. Some of my processes I've used have evolved over the years. There are times with this game that it's good to sit out for a while.
I've put together sets from wheels that produce 60 to 100 sets, for example. Out of all those sets I would pick specific sets that fall in closer under the bell curve of 100 +/- 15. I would also check these sets against past history for 3 of 5 hits and hot pairs. When I play it's generally more successful than trying to play a 5/5 wheel. What I mean by that is a wheel that has all possible combos of sets of the numbers you're using in the wheel.
Fantasy 5 used to be fun game to play. For me, not so much anymore. I pretty much stick to the dailies...

hiya Mr_Rich...cool, yup gotta work too hard at CA Fantasy5 just in hope of breakin even.

CA Fantasy5 stinks:dang: I have zero incentive to play it...knowing that other states have way better games, with smaller playfields AND jackpots as good if not better.

FL Fantasy5 is a very interesting 5/36:

Wheeling newbie with Trap/Overlap

FatJack,
I just posted this in the Wheeling section. You can play 18 numbers in your Pick 5 game for $6. using this method.
Here is what I said to ForEverBob;
,
I'm pretty new to wheeling also, and use Gail Howard's software mostly to do it for my Pick 5 game. As I said, LDIR has 800 wheels you can access too.
What I found is you first come up with the smallest set of good numbers for your game. Then you look for a wheel (to produce tickets for your game) for that amount of numbers, Also the wheel must have a win guarantee you can afford to play. I've been using 3 if 5 , but not in a normal way. I split my 18 numbers into 3 groups of 6. Then using a 12 number wheel, wheel group 1 with 2, then 1 with 3 , then 2 with 3. Each time I wheel , I get 2 tickets to play for a total cost of $6. I also believe this Trap/Over\Lap wheeling method improves the win guarantee from 3 if 5 to better than 3 if 3, because I occasionally hit 3 and 4 numbers in my pick 5 games doing it.
I hope this helps. Wheeling is really a must if you want to trap the winners.
By the way, you can try LDIR for free, as long as you like. The support is incredibly good too.

Hi chilibuill
Sorry mate but there is only three wheeling software that can produce the goods.
They are CoverMaster version 0.54.00 and 0.55.2.0 and Lotto Pro 2011.

If you can beat these three you good, but I still have three more up my sleeve.

LDIR and GH so sorrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy

Bumping this to see if fatjack or others here have an interest in this again...

It's almost 4 year anniversary and a lot can change in that time...
He mentioned having a stoke and I do hope he's still around,
at that time I was recovering also from cancer stuff and only returned
this past year and getting back into program test runs on methods again.

Hi all, what a pleasant surprise to come back some 4 years later and see someone interested in a post I make. I have just bought a new computer and surprised I remembered my account log in.

I haven't played the lottery in a while, so if I seem rusty please overlook. I haven't transferred the GH program yet, but will go from memory.

To find the present hottest money numbers go to I believe to chart 9 (pairs & triples) reset the number of games back to around 20-30 draws and look at the doubles and/or triples. Looking at the bottom you will see find (search matching numbers.) Pick the top double numbers and then find the other MONEY numbers. If you see say 25 number has been paired with 17 3-4 times and you also see 17 or 25 have hit a couple of times. Also look for triples. Now make a MONEY chart. The MONEY chart must contain at least 2/3 matching numbers.

Sometimes you will see a hit contain all numbers in 4-5 down-lines. I have seen more hits with all 5 numbers in 7 lines.

Example 4-12 has hit 4 times. Put 4-12 and search for missing numbers. Then list them like I showed 4 years ago then start charting. I start playing after the MONEY chart has hit 5 times.

This is for state games i.e. 5/39 5/42 as it hits more often. PB and MM has to many numbers and doesn't repeat often enough.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Glad to know you are still around and interested in lottery analysis.
Yeah, this is a Fantasy 5 based topic thread (or other 5 ball/low maximum
number 5/39 5/35 5/42 etc.) and not real useful for Powerball or such.

I don't use GH software (or any other commercial lottery software),
so reference to charts and such isn't helpful for the most part.

Since you are still setting up you computer, I'll keep checking back
and give you some time to get back into the swing of things again.

BTW: which OS are you forced to work with? Win7, Vista, Win8, other?

hi y'all!

CA Fantasy5 even preserves the numbers as they were drawn, which adds another level of analysis:

I bought a 8.1 windows then when to youtube and found a site on how to convert back to XP or 7 Windows. The name of the site is classicshell.net . The software is free however after trying it out I made a small donation. It took less than 5 mins to download and install. I am now a happy camper.

It will probably take a week or so before I get Gail transferred over. Here's how I got started. I make a blinder with 20-30 sheets and put the MONEY LINE on the sheet. start about 2o games back and come forward, and when I found 2-3 matches to the money number I would chart. You may have about 10-12 charts and will find the one or two you want to follow up on. Charting is the easy part as it will only takes less than 5 minutes to look over all 10-12 charts and charting of each line.

I like to find money lines that hit 2-3 times a week. All groups will start then builds speed then back off for about a week then hit a time or two before getting real cold. I would wait until I had 4-5 hits before paying that chat much attention. Then I started playing until I think It has gone cold around 7 lines. It shouldn't take you long before you get the feel of the timing of the hits. If you still have questions please ask.

Thanks for the reply

I have bookmarked and will study to see if it would be helpful for charting purposes.

Thanks for the heads up.
