Hi all! today in Alberta we are off work we have a stat holiday called Family Day how about the rest of the country, do you have something similiar?

As far as I know here in Quebec we do not have such a day.

Does that mean you have to stay home with your family or can you choose a family you get along with :lol: :lol: :lol:

It was a holiday the provincial Conservative government made about 10 yrs ago, it's the 3rd Monday in Febuary.

We have to work - to pay for the sales tax we have that you don't :sick:

Don't kid yourself, ours are hidden, plus we have user taxes like paying Alberta Health care premuims every 2 months, and a whole lot of other user taxes.

We get one Holiday extra a year.. We usually get it the first Monday in August....

We had Monday off.....Couldnt leave the house. All the roads were closed due to flooding and mud slides.

Got a photo of a couple of guys in their row boat paddling pass our house.

The funny thing is its Summer.

Ya Irvin i just saw the flooding in the news for your country, awesome power, stay safe , they said it was some kind of freak disturbance - go figure:confused: :rolleyes:
