Congratulations thornc, personally I was chearing for Monaco before the game because of our Dado Prso, but I was impressed by Porto's performance, Porto showed class again and Monaco didn't stand a chance. Well done. :agree2: :agree2:

Monaco looked like a joke..
how can they reach the final and not play at all ?
Did they have FUN the night before ?

Well the real Football begins Jun 12 in Portugal and let's see if France can do it with the likes of Thierry Henry..
Balak with Germany.
or perhaps England might wake up from their deep sleep?
Perhaps Van Nistelroy with Holland?

Post your comments when the time comes
cheers

Just for the warming up, here's a preview of group B in which is Croatia as well.

Group B

France are the current european champions and have a very talented line up indeed. However, this is the same squad that couldn't score a goal in the last World Cup and questions have to be asked what went wrong ?

England are becoming a very difficult team to beat, if not slightly predictable. When they try a different formation to the normal 4-4-2, they look far more fluent and less predictable. Only 1 loss under Eriksson and they are a live contender.

Croatia are another temperamental side, but talented also. We are not as good as previous Croatia sides, but we will not be a walkover and can cause problems for the leading two.

Switzerland were impressive in their qualifiers and look a tricky team to play against. I don't believe their qualifying group was one of the strongest however and they are the type of team that folds in finals.

A tricky group, but I expect the top two to go through, maybe France on goal difference.

Predicted table (realistic)

1. France
2. England
3. Croatia :dang:
4. Switzerland

Predicted table (emotional)

1. England
2. Croatia :agree:
3. France
4. Switzerland

More to come when EURO 2004 starts.

Cheers

Nice preview.

England could be beaten by Croatia, all it takes is one goal !!

France is a mystery and til now I can't figure out why they didn't do well in World Cup 2002 ?!!
Just get rid of Fabien Bartez and their jinx will disappear :D

Hey soccer nuts!

just thought to drop in for this though I don't have any insights, do like watching this real 'football' ... prob is I don't know if I can stay awake long enough or get up early enough to partake  .

Anyone got a link to the schedule? Tried http://www.uefa.com/ but did not locate it yet.

Cheers

Hey Brad

I believe the games are around 11:30 AM so there is no need to wake up early.
Gonna tape them then watch it later after work.
Just let me confirm the time.
