This afternoon, Prime Minister Paul Martin will ask the governor-general to dissolve the Parliament and get the federal election campaign underway. It is expected voting day will be on June 28th. Martin says, if the Liberals remain in power, they will spend an extra three billion dollars every year on health-care.

I will not bother to vote. I am joining the rank of the 29% who did not bother to go vote for these crooked suits at the last elections.
A blue liar or a red liar, what's the difference worth?

They have lost contacts with the real Canada and the real Canadians lonnnnnnnng time ago.

Canadians one day will wake up and trash this farce imitation of the British House of Lords in Ottawa and make Canada a republic like France and the U.S. with a government of elected people that serve Canadians and the Canadian interests, not their pet ideas and their hidden agendas. A real government that doesn't bend over to the U.S. interest like a bunch of weak yes-men.

A new government that is accountable for its electoral promises and forced to keep them, not like Chretien who promised to scrap the GST and never did, and all the other lies from him and all the others.

Replace the MPs with a computer network through the Internet and let the people vote the new laws, and not their so-called polls which I strongly doubt their existence (they never called me, nor anyone I know).

A new government format that can stand to the U.S. and tell them they can keep their missiles defense systems to themselves as long as they don't care about our beef industry and our soft-lumber. (After the U.N. verdict, you owe us 1 Billion dollards Uncle Sam!) What goes around comes around. Next time they get succesfully attacked by terrorists, they can land their passenger airplanes in the Atlantic as far as I am concerned!

Sorry for the rant in your thread Sheba. This was not a flame against you. I just wanted to get it off my chest.

One thing is for sure, if you vote Liberal, you are saying you condone corruption, and by doing so, you are making a statement saying, you are corrupt as well.
You in the East... wake up!!! smell the coffee, A Liberal vote means you better bend over, cause your going to get screwed.

They're Off!:Martin Calls Election

It's official! Prime Minister Paul Martin has met with the Governor General to ask her to dissolve Parliament. An election has been called for Monday, June 28th. Martin says his government is determined to build balanced budgets to pay down the debt, ensure social programs, and the best in childcare and education. Martin says voters have to ask themselves just what kind of Canada they want.

The next prime minister will have a quick rendez-vous with the Governor General early this week....A minority government is about to take power...So the next prime minister will be oblige to meet her....like it or not... :agree: :lol:

Seriously...I have heard this rumour that there is more and more talking about introducing a .25 cents lottery across Canada... It would be a 6/54 lottery type....Draws would be held only once per 2 weeks on Monday night...But here's the catch....Quick picks only...
