Hi Bloubul
A limited number of Serotic wheels may be found in the "Lotto Wheels" section of this website. You need to do a search though. The publications of Robert Serotic are out-of-print. I have asked my son who stays in Orange County, CA to look out for old copies that may be lying around. No success, so far.
I believe somebody has promised to post some of these wheels, but we are still waiting ...
As for number picking, I am presently fiddling with 'hot and cold' numbers, hit patterns in the lottery entry coupon and number rankings.
There are players who find the concept of 'hot and cold' numbers ludicrous. But, if you had patiently maintained a simple draw-date versus lotto-number chart, then the patterns of hitting streaks are unmistakeable. In the lottery I analyze, the hot streak stops after a series of about 6 hits. How the number 'knows' when to start and when to stop/rest, I don't know. I have tried using Fourier analysis to understand the behaviour better but I have reached a dead end.
Depending on the lottery, the symmetrical layout of the betting coupon may yield some helpful filtering techniques. For example, over 95% of the time, there may not be more than 3 winners in any one of the 'vertical' grids in the coupon.
I find frequency rankings after about half-a-year's worth of draws, helpful in deciding whether a 'dormant' number is going to start becoming a winner again. Nevertheless this is not an exact science. Numbers with a high 50-draw rank but are nonactive recently, may tend to win soon.
What works for me may not be useful to somebody else in another part of the world. It depends on the practices adopted by the respective lottery commissions. Generally I think it is important to keep a sharp eye on the statiscal trends that characterize your local lottery.
