Do the odds ever frustrate you?

Hi all,

I'd like to think of myself as a moderate gambler who always choses my own numbers rather than get a quick pick so I can implement methods like tracking, odd/even, pairs and sector analysis.

However, after many years and little luck, I have become frustrated with this lack of success despite my 'intelligent approach', which Hope convinced me might be the advantage in all this.

I know the psychology behind the gambler anticipation for reward mirrored against his conflict monitoring and anxiety when faced with the reality of the odds but I just feel the need to say that losing sucks!

Anyone else feel down or frustrated by the constant loosing and minimal returns?

Cheers!

let me tell you somt'n

Check this out, my fellow gambler: I had played Ontario Keno only about 10 times in my life (this being about two months ago), and on my eleventh try I got 8/10 @ 2 dollars, thats 400 bucks!; and how did I manage that?, you might ask. Well, I'm just full of it, because those 8 of 10 numbers were random as can be. Later on i got 7/10 @ 1 dollar, thats another 50$, so there. Just know that sooner or later, just because your pen fell where it did, you'll hit more numbers than you initially thought.

The odds do indeed frustrate me, mainly I play the game for fun and not for profit. But it is amazing how even the most well thought out strategy can fail.
But just as you are about to quit, sometimes you win something. Every time
I lose I tell myself I am quitting the game, a few days later I put in a few lines & win a couple of hundred and I am back playing again.
I think focussing on games 5#s and below is a better strategy.
While I have had some sucess with 7 #and 6# games
it took a lot of work & $$ to win those.
If you focus on the lower # games the small winnings can add up to a few thousand in a few months. Just in July alone I grossed $3000.00
all that from 4# and 5# game.

While purely random selection can get results, Keno numbers do have a cyclical pattern to them. So for instance if there are too many odd numbers today likely there will be more even numbers a day or so later.

Definitely in my experience reviewing the stats daily and tailoring the game accordingly has had some good results. Last year I got 7/7 via mixing
numbers from a computer RNG. While that worked it took a lot of lines to garnish a winner. I guess you could say I did not know how to play Keno then. I believe I did 150 lines, luckily for me the winner had a $2 wager.

"woke up"? Mexico City? that is hardcore

well, I live not far from the Mexican border...worst I remember is bangin my head on some huge gothic wooden table in an underground bar in TJ...drinkin pitchers of beer from the pitcher can catch up withya, especially ifya in highschool heh!

I've been in TJ during a riot, luckily the federalis didn't haul me in...they grabbed people who looked guilty or too wasted to put up much of a fight ha!

hahah actually it was all jokes
i've done very few lines in my life, and will likely never do one again! i just thought it'd be a funny joke to lighten up to mood :)

Thanks for the story though blitzed :rolling: must be fun knowing you live close to Mexico and can escape reality i suppose . Whereas i live really close to Michigan! crossing the border isn't as dramatic of a change.

and also: i won 5/6 on Ontario keno tonight:beer: thanx to some randomly generated lines from your website !! i was going to do random.org and decided not to at last minute because they do 80 number keno draws.
