Has anyone looked at using the concept of delta numbers in Pick 3 -- by which I mean the differences or gaps between the numbers?
For example set 159 would give two delta numbers: 4 (5-1) and 8(9-1). Just doing a quick look at some data, you can see that the numbers balance out pretty quickly. So a result of 1,2 (e.g. 012) would be followed most times by 4,6 or 3,5. Also works the other way with high deltas being followed by lower values in the next one or two draws.
Seems like we could use this info to craft some boxed combos that could pop out.
