Well it’s almost time for me to go south (Tuesday) so in order to be in the game and at the same time check my numbers from Nicaragua, I’ll post here a very small matrix (all 47 numbers are inside these 12 combinations) that I played for the following 2 draws December 30, 2005 and January 06, 2006.

Babar’s Lucky Numbers:

08 10 19 22 35 46 47
20 23 24 26 31 38 47
06 12 13 18 20 29 36
03 05 11 16 17 43 45
04 07 10 27 33 38 42
14 15 21 28 34 38 39
01 02 09 25 30 31 46
08 21 32 37 40 41 44
05 06 20 23 31 46 47
01 05 16 21 26 35 40
02 03 09 25 28 30 39
11 14 22 34 37 42 43

I sincerely hope that one of us will hit the jackpot in this new 2006. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Babar

Results for Dec. 23 wheel...........

Much like the last week........

FTs X 13
$10 X 6

One of the more brutal results I've seen in a long time....from just under 400 lines played.....

Sometimes it seems the winning numbers take detours around yours (QP's included).....glad some people won though.....

I'm taking my losses over to Keno for a while.....

Good luck Super-7'ers!

phoenix,

congratulations on your winning ticket. How did you pick your numbers?

Why thanks. :)
I just go for a simple $2 quick pick, seems I had better luck than usual this time. In fact it's the 2nd draw in a row I won a free ticket, the last one being a single free ticket among 6 selections ($4).

I could go ahead and write a program which would look at all the numbers ever drawn for each draw and pick the numbers which have had the lowest (or highest) payouts in the history of the game, but I would need to know what would be the average weighting for, suppose, 5/7 matching numbers. Of course 4/7 would give you $10, but, on average, what would one use for 5/7? Would it be a good idea to use the average payouts in the past year or the entire history of the game?

Writing the program to actually go and grab the numbers and average them all out wouldn't be too hard; it's just tedious HTML parsing if you know a site which has them.

All done in Java. :)
