This is an example of 9 random picks which use all the numbers 1-49:

Finish the last pick with 5 of your favorite numbers. You can play the picks as generated, or re-arrange them to your liking...such as making sure that the numbers from the last draw are each contained in a different pick.

If you use the simonsez formula, you can create picks from the numbers given by one of the formulas.

Hi yiyi, you are welcome! There are many good tips here in this forum...one is to test different methods, find which ones look like they will be luckiest for you, BEFORE spending a substantial amount of money playing.

Anyway, my site provides some convenient tools to make picking lottery numbers easier. You can generate random picks until you see a few that give you a good feeling, or you can try a set of spectrum picks, play the 8 picks as is, or just ones that give you a good feeling, or re-arrange the numbers to your liking, then play them after you've added your personal touch.

It is also fun to generate picks with the various methods, or multiple sets...then just keep them on file to see how well they would have done IF you had chosen to play them. That helps decide which method and strategy would be best to use when you actually do play.

Good luck catching the lottery dragon by the tail!

Hello Amarjeet! (Nice name!)

I'm sorry you are so confused about all this. Please read IRONBELLE'S thread where she was having trouble with her string. I go into a little more depth there. Just substitute YOUR numbers for hers in the workout and I think you should be okay. There are 2 different kinds of strings on here. I'm leaning towards using the "core" strings, though the old ones will work also. I believe I also give some shorter formulas for your 5/31 game on this thread somewhere. You might want to go back and reread everything here because there is a lot of information. Just take your time, it's all a lot easier then it looks.


Let's take an example from your 6/49 drawings above and put them in order.

21 22 25 28 29 34 39 44 47

First of all I'd like to warn you that these are probably not the best 2 drawings you would want to put together. Always try to use 2 drawings that have a good mix of numbers, with some from each number group. Even if you have to go back a few drawings, it's always better to use a more balanced set of numbers. These are too high and will result in giving us MORE high numbers when the chances of them coming out again like that are relatively slim.

But since these were your numbers we will continue on----

We are just adding and minusing from these numbers. When you see the formula #1 which is S+1+2, all that means is that we are going to take EACH number from your six and run it through this formula.

S means we keep the same number and add +1 and +2 to it. So let's take the number 21 to start with. We are going to keep it the S(Same) and add 1 and 2 so number 21 will give us 21 22 23. Take the 22 and keep it the SAME and add 1 and 2 so that will be 22 23 24. You will wind up with a lot of repeats that you just eliminate. Next take the number 25 and do the same so you will wind up with 25 26 27. Your first string using the #1 formula should look like this when it is finished:

21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 34 35 36 39 40 41 44 45 46 47 48 49

I know it looks hard but it's very simple. We're just going to play the numbers around our last 2 drawings, the ones above them and below them. If you keep that in mind, it should become a little clearer. The formulas just set them up for you.

Appreciate your support! I've been housesitting for the past month or so and have been away from the computer, thanks for asking about me! No computer at the house I'm staying at so I feel out of touch! Plus I haven't had anything new to report at this time. Feel like my brain is on vacation. I am still in the middle of a pick 3 system I'm working on and haven't gotten back to the strings as of yet. Am going to try something new using pi
(3.14) to come up with some new formulas. Hopefully after the holidays I will be back home and back to business. Pick 5/6 are my first loves and I can't wait to get started improving the strings. But I am learning a lot from trying to figure out the pick 3. I read somewhere that you should always start with the smallest game and work up to the larger ones. I went backwards! So, the next set of formulas should be better, haha.

Yes, chasing the lottery can be complicated, there are so many different strategies.

If you simply want to play 1 set of 6 numbers, then I suggest carefully crafting your pick based upon probabilities.

A formula that seems to work well for me is to take 3 of the coldest numbers (numbers which have not been drawn in a long time.) then take 2 numbers which are warm, then 1 hot number having appeared in the draw before, or even the most recent draw.

Yup, initially I was workin on systems for SuperLotto Plus & Fantasy 5...but then realized it might be easier to start out by workin on systems for pick3 since the game has better odds. Not only that, but it is always good to be able to switch to a different project with a fresh perspecitve, look at it from another angle, rather than hammer away at the same one and get burnt out on it.

Good idea blitzed. That's what I keep doing also. Work on Pick 5.think of something for Pick -3 .Work on Pick-3...think of something for Pick-5.
Keeps everything fresh.

Hey budward, right on...yup and sometimes certain aspects carry over between systems.

Other times a game demonstrates strange behavior, or has a small pot, so I hop to a different game for a while.

Can see the formula is working as the core #1 has 3 numbers. But here we need at least 3 + to cash it. :p
