Check Out My Winning Number Strings!!

Hello Everyone,
Just a newbie here with maybe a newbie idea. I've created a little formula that works in Pick 5 and Pick 6 games. It's a little supplement to those of you who have some awesome wheels and perhaps other filters you may use. My idea will give you a string of numbers with the winning numbers in them. I'll explain.

First you take your last 2 drawings in your state's game and write them out in numerical order. I will use a pick 5/39 game as an example. Of course, if you use this for 6/49 and up games you will be left with more numbers but I can give a shortened version if anyone is interested. For now we'll use the 5/39.

Say your last 2 drawings were 2 7 12 14 23 and 1 8 22 35 37. Write them in order----

1 2 7 8 12 14 22 23 35 37

Now we plug in my formulas. Start with #1 which is S +1 +2 (S = Same number)

We take the number 1 in the above drawings and it becomes 1 2 3, take the next number 3 and it becomes 3 4 5, the 7 will be 7 8 9,etc. so your first string of numbers will look like this:

1 2 3 4 7 8 9 10 12 13 14 15 16 22 23 24 25 35 36 37 38 39

Formula #2 is (-2 -1 S) So,again we start with the 1 and now it will become 38 39 1, the number 2 will become 39 1 2, the number 7 will become 5 6 7, the 8 will be 6 7 8,etc. so your string will be this:

38 39 1 2 5 6 7 8 10 11 12 13 14 20 21 22 23 33 34 35 36 37

Formula #3 is (-1 S +1) so the 1 becomes 39 1 2, the 2 becomes 1 2 3, the 7 is now 6 7 8,etc.

Formula #4 is (+1+2+3) so the 1 will become 2 3 4, the 2 will become 3 4 5, the 7 will become 8 9 10,etc.

What's amazing is that these strings actually will contain all or most of the winning numbers more often than you think. Everyday I check all states results and there's rarely a day when all 5 DON'T hit somewhere. I stick with these strings for 10 drawings. Try it on paper first and see how it works for you. Any questions, comments? I'm open.

Check Out My Winning Number Strings

Hi simonsez

Your method sounds good, but what is the success rate.
Do you have an Excel formula that can be used?

Hello bloubu,
Thanks for writing in. I'm sorry I don't have actual percentages. Since I have only worked on this for the CALIF Fantasy 5 I can tell you that it works practically every time within the 10 day cycle. If you were to do this with your own lotteries in each individual state or country that you happen to be in the percentages,I'm sure, would be different for each one. Of course,my system leaves you with a healthy set of numbers so it's not that surprising that the winners are in there. One other thing I can tell you is that I have taken random sets of numbers and compared them to my strings and the strings always have a better ratio of winners in them. That's when I sort of knew I was on to something. Now I am going back from the very first drawing and running my system through EVERY single drawing and so far the success rate is very encouraging. I do have a spreadsheet someone wrote for me but I don't have Excel and can't work with it as yet to see if it has everything I would like it to have so I can release it out to the public to help others do this for their own lotteries. I'm not too computer savvy so I am also talking to someone else to help me write software for this. If you are familiar with Excel I would encourage you to take your own lotteries past results and see if you are finding the same thing as I did here. I really think it would be worth your time to explore it for awhile because I've been hearing from people in other states in the US that this is working for them too. This system is really only in the beginning stages and I have a lot more I want to do with this. I thought I would at least tell people about this in case they have their own systems they'd like to use along with it because it's a great starter to have a string of numbers that you know have the winners in them. It's a whole lot easier to start with 20 some odd numbers than 39 and above. Thanks again for writing, and you're welcome to do with these strings as you will. Keep me updated if you do. Take Care.

Looking at your fornulae, I don't see the reason for formula #3 (already contained within formulae 1 & 2), and formula #4 adds potentially one more number per result number to the sequence.

I'd have thought that your formulae could be condensed into something like:
-2 -1 S +1 +2 +3

Therefore, depending on the number of unique previous winning numbers, you could end up with somewhere between 11 and about 30 numbers (assuming a 5 number draw).

... or am I missing womething ..?

Hello RobT,
Thanks for writing in! If you look on the other thread with this same name (I accidently posted it twice, sorry!) you will see I've sort of abandoned the 4 formulas and now made it into one. Read the other one and if you have any other questions, let me know!
Thanks again!!
