They succeed because lot of people trust the system. Have you ever been to a show, to watch the draw? (I have). How many people were there? why are they not allowing 1000s of people to assist to the draw (limit to a very few number when I was there it was ca. 8).
Why doest it take 1 hour after the closure for the number to be drawn? Why are the draws not really public? To many misteries.

I laugh everytime someone at bingo says that to me.
First off I have to be licensed by gaming and adhere to strict conduct of rules.
The entire event is taped.
I have camera's on me, on the machines at all times, everything is videotaped.
The balls go in the machine, and I pluck them out one at a time.
Usually the ones with the big mouths are those that don't win.
that's why they call it gambling.
I usually tell them to call 1-800- I don't give a s**t.

So, why the delay? to reconcile draw files across the country?

Seems to me draw data should be reconciled FIRST then the draw should take place.

This is what takes place and is only logical.

Terminals close -> draw data reconciled across the country -> final draw file secured -> draw occurs -> winners announced.

The only problem is why the results are available at 10:30 ish eastern
