Can I ask question or 2 about Lotwin?

I have some general questions to ask about Lotwin- is it OK to do this? Previously it was mentioned in a another thread and it was permissible to mention this software program at that time.
Thanks! :)

OK as everybody must be aware by now I am no techie or mathmetician. I have been using trial version of Lotwin and it just seems too fast and easy to use to be true. The stats are probably OK, as far as I can tell, but the speed with which it cuts down the numbers of lines to play with each filter added plus the line builder feature is so practically instantaneous and including the great differences made to the resulting total numbers, I just have to wonder if it is not using something to cut corners in terms of generating its lines, for example, not producing all possible lines per filter but doing passes through something like a random number generator to cut the numbers prior to processing with each sub or module (not sure if I'm using the correct terminology here) in order to provide illusion of effectiveness and to produce user satisfaction. Has anybody else used Lotwin and what are your opinions? Is it using "shortcuts"? Thanks!

... some feedback

Excellent program, even in trial version (not Lite).

I tried Lite - it was useless, on many levels.

I have been using v2.134 and I am happy with it.

I have encountered only 1 problem.

Optimum reduction has a bug in it.

It gives you a few lines (<10) that are not optimal.

Fortunately, I found a workaround very quickly. It is no longer an issue.

I downloaded the 2004 version, and the Random Line Generator does not work in this version.

So I'm sticking with v2.134 for as long as possible.

The subscription policy, however, is a major deterrent to acquisition.

I noticed the bug when I was using Bankers in my selections.

After running Optimum Reduction for 5 correct numbers and checking the results, I found several extra lines (<10) that did not include the Bankers.

To fix this problem, I executed a rebuild using "Apply filters to current list". The extra lines were eliminated during the rebuild.

This undermined my confidence in Optimum Reduction a bit.
But because the fix was easy, I got over it quickly.

May be that's not a bug. Perhaps, without such lines your wheel is not a 100% cover. Perhaps ...

When wheeling 2 numbers of group A with 4 of group B, sometimes optimum reduction gives me some lines with more than 2 of group A and others with none.

The program chooses a better way to make a smaller wheel while not respecting the max-minimum configuration, that's why it's called optimum reduction. It gives a 100% wheel with less lines than the standard reduction.
