If anyone has noticed...the Calottery website has finally posted the start of the Daily 4 game. I was hoping the game would be similar to the Decco game they had many years ago, but no luck there. The Daily 4 will play like the Daily 3. When I played the Decco game I missed out on $5K a number of times. The numbers I played on a Tuesday would hit on a Thursday which would be the day I worked late and wasn't able to buy my tickets. That was my luck. I think I may have to buy my tickets for the week in advance. I'll give that a try...

California Lottery snatched the pick4 game, and instead of being creative, they snipped the balls off
the game.
no 50cent bet, prizes for front3 or back3 digits, pair, or consolation prize of $1 for getting 1digit by position or whatever. throw a dog a bone...games are supposed to be fun, keep 'em comin back for more.
I just checked these states at random, and they all offer 50cent bets: FL, OR, WA, NJ, NY, WV. Even the crooks in DC offer 50cent bets

I was thinking of playing one of the sets that jinxed me many years ago. It will be interesting to see the payouts... Most of my hits with Daily 3 were straight/box hits. I'm starting to play box lately.
I still have some 5 1/4" disks with the Decco game on them. There may be a bit of a challenge to recover those files.
That game was positional since the only option was straight play. Boxed choices weren't an option.

yup, I'm curious about how the Daily4 pari-mutuel payouts.
I usually bet "straight/box" when there are just a few probable combo variations of the digits in the pick....otherwise if all combos are probable then I'll just shoot for the box bet.

Thats good Blitzed, I remember when I was living in California(San Diego) as you know Calif didn't have daily4 games then . The only thing close to that was fantasy 5, which I won 4 numbers I will always remember that. My mom and dad graduated from "The Ohio State University "so I wanted to give it a try. I'm going to find work in the private sector back home in California of course. Delmar,Ca. Playing lottery here in ohio saves me 50 cents everytime as you know back home in calif playing pick3 is 1.00... Thats ok I guess!!! Lol
