Buying a new car!!

I hope you didn't buy that car brand new, especially those cheaper Korean and American and most volkswagens because they depreciate like crazy, i've heard some of them like 50 % in the 1st year  . I'd stick with getting a 2-3 yr old used or a good Jap car new or used, like Toyota / Honda / Subaru
You are wrong here Charles...Jeep Liberty depreciate faster these days...I know I once owned a Jeep Liberty...I will never buy one of these again..

I currently owned 2 4x4 trucks...1 plane...and 2 smaller 4x4...
But when it is time to buy ....Small jeep of any kind is totally out of the question...
:agree: :agree2:

RAV4 was a joke... :clown:    :heul: :heul:

Yes, the first model was very weak. The new model seems better, but I never tried it!

The problem around here is that they want to forbid people from using big 4x4 inside the towns. They say they polute more and are heavier than normal cars...

Actually both Toyota RAV4 and Honda CRV are both better than Kia Sorrento anytime.

However the latter is full size. That is the only advantage of the KIA to them.

I own both 2004 RAV4 and 2002 CRV. My wife uses a 2005 Sienna. My daughter uses a X5. I like the imports much better because they are more reliable.

My wife is still mad that I bought a new Alero. Did that before I met her. Don't care about the deprication as I plan on driving it until it dies. Got it for 17K

The thing is lousy in the snow though!!! I so miss my 1986 Grand Am when there is snow on the road. Grand Am lasted 14 years:)

My wife loves her Toyoda (12 years and going strong)so our next car will probably be one of their hybreads.
