Browser Problem

I'm having a problem when I use Opera as my browser. I am unable to log on to this website and it continually denies me access to the forum. It requests my password and accepts it, but I still get denied entry. There is no problem with IE so it must be security or cookie related. Anyone with a fix?

Opera has a terrible page caching problem. After you log in using Opera, try refreshing/reloading the page. Same thing after logging out. Try deleting the cookie altogether and give it another go.

Took me a little while to track it down. Here is a recent bug report. The amazing thing is that this bug existed back in 2002 in version 6.01! Current version is 7.52 and just as buggy.

I'll take Mozilla over Opera any day.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I kept messing with it until I was successful. Cookies were not enabled, now they are.

Glad you got it sorted, Karnac. Sorry for tearing a strip out of Opera. I simply lost confidence in it a long time ago, when they stopped paying attention to legitimate bug reports. Then again, most software developers eventually reach that "comfort zone" when they stop listening to the people that made their product popular to begin with.
