Remember when the price of smokes went skyhigh a few years back, they came back down again not that long afterwards. Too many people were smuggling them into the country and re-selling them.

Actually, the price increase has worked kind of in my favour. I used to get one 649 quick pick with the change from a fiver, whenever I used to get milk. Now I get two Ont.49 quickpicks for the same change - twice the fun. Now if we could only keep the price of milk steady... I really hate dipping into the "Leave your penny, Don't take my penny" dish for that extra two cents.

LAST NIGHT'S BC49

There were only 4 winners who matched 5/6
That is very very bad indeed in terms of ticket sales!!
Also 471 matched 4/6..Usually it's around 800!!
Excellent job by BC players...
Hope they bury this Lotto along with CN49

BAD NEWS FOR LOTTO CORP CONTINUE

Last night's 5/6 in CN49 was pathetic...Just over 1,000.00 and 4/6 was even worse like 40.00 Dollars.

the same was with BC49...Only 4 winners for 5/6 hahahaa

I wonder if the winner of the almost 3.8 mil, could sue the lotto corp.
Afterall, they did advertise the lotto to start at 4 mil.
I wonder if we could all start a class action suit saying they did not deliver what they promised.
After all perhaps "I" would not be enticed to buy a ticket if "I" knew the lotto was for less than 4 mil.
Thoughts anyone?

I don't think we can just go and sue !!
On many occasions the jackpot goes for 4.3 Millions..It fluctuates.So I don't think we have a case.

The interesting thing is perhaps sue for the deterioration of 5/6 and 4/6 It went down drastically..
