Two interesting things about this article:

http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/b-c-lottery-winner-s-odd-strategy-earns-him-two-jackpot-cheques-1.1301660

First, his strategy of buying two tickets with the same numbers. Anyone else do that?

Second, the disclaimer at the top of the article that the article has been used as part of a scam, where the scammer claims that the winner wants to give you part of his winnings. Just a reminder to be very careful out there, folks. If it seems to good to be true...

Good luck!

very cool Icewynd!

I would never buy the same big lotto numbers twice in one draw...no need:agree: to be greedy!

on pick3 however, I've sometimes bet my strongest pick on another ticket.

LOTTO FRAUD...yes, my wife is a banker and enounters customers being scammed by organized crime...ummmya, how could you possibly win big lotto of a country you have never even visited, nor purchased a lotto ticket for? some people are absolutely hellbent upon believing everything they read...I WON! YOU ARE JUST JEALOUS!:rolling::bomb:

Not a good strategy if you win it outright with no one to share with except yourself. In fact the less other winners there are the poorer your value for money on the second ticket you bought. Plus he's halved the chances of winning the jackpot per dollar spent.
