Aussie Boys Town Lottery ?

Hi all,

(I posted this in another thread but didn't get much response, thought I'd try here).

Anyone know what the odds are of winning a Boys Town lottery?

Anyone know anyone that's ever won a prize with Boys Town?

Is it a decent bet for the $15 per ticket?

Maybe I'm better off with my weekly $13.20 TattsLotto ticket.

Cheers,

Paul.

1.Quick search shows – it’s a kind of charity for young people in need, so therefore the odds are not
that important IMO, especially considering just giving $15 for that purpose is OK . Also, without
checking the odds for the game I might bet they are good.

2. Don’t know which another game you were talking about, but also a quick web search might show
that Australian Saturday lotto (and also Monday and Wednesday 6/45) are extremely fine games, and
IMO possibly the world’s best
considering prizes, ticket prices, odds and the other stuff a lottery player might look for. If I were
you, I would consider something like doubling that $ 13.2 weekly of yours for such games …

Hi tomtom,

Yes, I do beleive Boystown is a worthy cause. I buy the odd ticket now and then.

I mostly play Saturday night Tattslotto 6/45.

Mostly pick my numbers with new fangled software. Not having a bad run. a couple of $100.00 wins and a few wins netting around $30-50

Cheers,

Paul.

Boystown Lottery ODDS OF WINNING

Your odds of winning a prize are directly related to the number of tickets sold in each lottery. If every ticket was sold in a lottery of say, 300,000 tickets, and the total number of prizes was three, then the odds of winning a prize would be 1:100,000. The odds of winning first prize would then be 1:300,000. Compare the odds - your chances of winning are substantially better than offered by many major Lotto games.

Good Luck
