No.

Canadians have no choice at all in this election. Its either this liar, or this crook, or that double-face.

They're all self-serving, have no interest whatsoever in the welfare of Canadians, and they all have their own hidden agenda.

One of their hidden agenda was discovered by the Calgary Sun. They were planning to give the MPs a big raise. Like if they're not making enough already. Talk about milking the cashcow dry. My, Oh my! That starts to resemble a lottery corp.

Voting is nothing less than giving your consent to have 30 million Canadians shafted for another 4 years.

I stand by my words.

It may seem like there are no good candidates but one thing to consider is what issue is specifically important to you. There are pro's and cons to every party and candidate but if there is one single important issue to you than choose that party.

The way it looks is the Liberals shot themselves in the foot with the Ad scam. In Ontario Dalton McGuinty also pissed off alot of people by raising taxes but they don't consider why Dalton had to raise taxes. Mike Harris and his platform of responsible government of the Tories slashed and gutted programs saying Ontario will be better off in the long run. When they got kicked out we were worse off because some how we ended up with a 6 billion deficit.
One thing that is important to me is Health Care. And it looks like the one party that would bring in American style health care to Canada may win. Thats why I think I am gonna vote for Martin because if Harper gets in you can say good bye to Canadian Health Care being exempt from Nafta.
You may say well vote NDP then if ya like health care. The problem is the NDP will not get many votes in Ontario. Quebec is gonna vote in the Block with a huge majority. Harper will take Alberta, BC, and parts of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. NDP will get seats in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and parts of Atlantic Canada.
With voters angry at Dalton in Ontario there is a good chance Harper could take Ontario. If he does this he could get a majority and health care will be in trouble. Alot of Ontarians are saying they want a minority government so they will not vote for the Liberals. The problem is with Quebec going with the PQ it will already be a minority government if the Liberals manage to take Ontario. If Harper (New Conservatives) takes Ontario they he could concievably get a majority. Thats why I am gonna vote for the Liberals. Especially after what Ralph Klein said yesterday about presenting his plan for health care reforms that will violate the Canada Health Act 2 days after the election.
Harper will kill health care. His words during the debate stated this when he said " why should the government and the people of Canada care how health care is administered as long as the the quality is good." He doesn't realize people will care if we have to buy expensive insurance to cover it.
If Harper gets in, and lets Klein privatize in Alberta, its only a matter of time before the rest of Canada will have to comply because U.S HMO's will come in and sue the provinces into compliance under Nafta.
Privatization will mean more expensive costs to the average person than they are paying now. If ya don't believe this ask Ontarians if their electricity is cheaper now after they privatized it under Earnie Eves's Tories. They gave a sales pitch saying competition will increase efficency and decrease the cost to produce electricity. This may be true to some extent but that savings is not passed on to consumers because private corporations and companies see that as a way to increase profits.
The cheaper it is to produce the more they can increase profits by.

Hi Godload,

I read your message twice and I greatly respect your opinion Godload. You certainly prove my point. There are no choices in this election. They all want to pass their pet ideas regardless of what Canadians need. Just like Mulroney and his free trade agreement years back. People all over Canada opposed it, yet he passed it.

P.S.
Here, after privatization, electricity has doubled in price, at least here in Cowtown. Electricity is twice more expensive and half of the bill is bureaucratic bul***it that wasn't on the bill before privatization. As you said, its just an excuse to rake deeper in the dollars to keep the shareholders happy.

What Canada need is a revolt, a revolution, and scrap that govermental farce. We need to put real men on the job, but I have come to think that Canada is probably not capable to produce them. Great changes like this won't happen as long as the middle class sheeps are comfortable. They are doing to us the same they did to the natives. A little gift here, a little gift there. Keep them drunk, give them a welfare cheque, and you can do what you want.

At an embassy reception, Ann Landers was approached by a rather pompous senator.
"So you're Ann Landers. Say something funny."

Without hesitating, she replied,

"Well, you're a politician. Tell me a lie."
