Anyone playing Poker Lotto?

This is one weird game -- part lotto, part video poker.

Sounds like, for $2 you get an instant-win poker hand dealt to you on the display screen of the lotto terminal when you buy the ticket, plus a game where you have to match the cards on your ticket to the cards that are drawn on a daily basis.

Anyone playing or planning to play?

hmmm, interesting...however caution, it has the hallmarks of a novelty game...looks like they want to cater to poker afficionados...yup, just did a comparison:

$5k prize Keno vs. Poker:
Keno two shots! (7pick @1 in 15,464)
Poker $2 (1 in 649,740)

$100k prize Keno vs. Poker:
Keno $2 (9pick @1 in 387,197)
Poker $2 (1 in 2,598,960)

man that :dog:stinks.

reminds me of the crappy $2 California Daily Derby here...but at least our odds are only 1 in 1,320,000 for the jackpot...which I've seen it get as big as $900k+

embrace your Canadian Keno game...I would be playing it, if California lottery empowered it's players with such good game odds & payouts.

hiya Icewynd, you are most welcome.

yup, gotta watch out for gimmicks.

it'd probably be a real eye-opener ifya made a spreadsheet of all the games your lottery offers, comparing the odds for certain prizes across scratcher ticket games, dailies, and lottos.

cheers!
