Anybody know ratio of $$ played by "real players" vs the few $$ a draw quick pickers?
The count down before the price increase. Seems like there is a lot of frustration out there in lotto land. Things are gonna change...
There are some who believe that this little lottery corp's experiment will turn out to be an experiment gone bad. Really? From who's perspective? The corporation's?
It seems to me that the vast majority of 6/49 lotto ticket buyers are the once or twice a week few bucks at a time quick pickers etc., and that these lotto players will probably just swallow the increase. The marketing trends are such that people are willing to spend a little more (twice as much) on very small luxuries, in this case, the dream of a bigger jackpot.
What are your thoughts?
And, btw, does anybody have any hard information concerning the proportional amount of dollars spent/revenues generated on the lottery by the typical player, (i.e, the small amount wagered, regularly playing, quick pickers, etc.) vs. the more serious players?
Why do you choose to play the 6/49 if you are a player, since the odds are astronomical?
