Winner Take All was really popular when it first came out, I remember the prize payouts being between 40 and 50 K and then for some reason interest dwindled , people stopped buying it for whatever reason, and for the longest time now the payout's been a flat 5000.00.

Basically just another Encore type game. How many Encore games do we need? Psychologically very dry, unappealling. No sense of sport to that type of game at all. Haven't they already or didn't they have plans to resurrect the Wintario? I thought I heard something about that some months ago now.

For the past few years I have participated in the occasonal survey by the name of Web Perspectives conducted by J.D Power and Associates.
This mornings' survey was marked top secret, and it obviously was put out for the OLGC. All the questions pertained to Ontario lotteries and the questions included: How much I spent on the lottery? Have I a system for picking my numbers? Do I purchase tickets on impulse? What factors cause me to purchase fewer tickets? If my household expenses increase, would it cause me to purchase fewer tickets? Do I budget for lottery tickets? Are the lottery games too difficult to win. Do I buy more or the same amount of tickets when the Jackpot is large? There were no questions pertaining to QPs' or if I purchased them, but it was obvious that there is something brewing at the OLGC, and from the line of questions it was quite obvious that sales of the lotteries are in the toilet.
There was also a nice area to make comments and I let them have both barrels af verbal animosity addressing the increased cost of the national game as well as the inability to select my own numbers with Super 7 being direct causes of my (HehHeh) lack of participation. The survey was almost 25 minutes long and when I tried to copy and paste the questions afterwards it would not permit me to. The overall direction of the survey was "Why are you spending less lottery dollars"....You would have all been proud of me. The next few months may be interesting.

If you'd like a shot at the same survey ,maybe you can get it here.

Hope you didn't scare them too much saying " Lower the odds or put fair ticket prices , or otherwise I might print all possible combinations in 6/49 and super7 and send the papers to you for recycling."

Karnac, you were lucky - must be an omen.;) I joined and got hooked into a survey about brands of margarines. Turns out there's a brand of margarine called "Mirage". I've never heard of it before now. Mirage was always to me a famous joint on the Vegas strip, among other things, but now I'm something you spread on your toast.

If you really want to annoy the lotto corp, get their fax number, and if you have a fax, tape 3 pages of the same fax together, till it forms a loop in the fax machine, and send it after hrs, it will run until they are out of paper, plus stores it in the memory when they put new paper in, do this on and off for a week, you'll get their attention.:agree:
Nasty!!! I know,
I once did this to a company that was not returning my calls regarding some service issues, they called back the next morning.

Karnac, I hope you told them your really pissed, with the price increase, a family of four, now has to spend twice as long, looking for cans along the roadside. :wavey: and that does'nt leave much time for number selection.

I think every time stores charge something like 5 cents/can for deposit. That means one 6/49 ticket= 40 cans, 10 tickets = 400 cans:eek2:. I'm not sure if that's because aluminum is cheap or tickets are expensive.. I was almost sure aluminum is among the most expensive metals..

In the 6/49 game 2+B odds are something like 1 : 80 (give or take a few) . A player plays 80 tickets spending $160....and somehow his lucky star manages to get him not expected one but 30 tickets with winning 2+b... So the win is $150, which means altogether the player lost $10, despite beating the odds 30 times...

Well, more and more players may consider this in future, so more and more money they would need to spend for marketing in order to make people interested in that game anymore....
