for example, if the result is 1,2,3,4,5,6
and the numbers i picked are 2,3,4,5,6,7
do i have 5 numbers hitted? or the numbers i have picked have to be in the correspond place as same as the result's one? thx!!!

since i believe its around 1033 chances for you to get 4 out of 6 numbers, in a game of 49.

i dont mean getting 3 out of 6 OR 4 out of 6.

example:

1 7 10 11 27 41 49 (drawn)

if your numbers were 2 7 11 21 27 47, that's 3/6 (easy to win)

assuming i knew/hoping 7 11 27 were to be drawn, i would need to know
1 41 49, thus making it that i would need to know 3-3 3/3 with no room for error, of a 43 game, is what I meant =)

any quick way to achieve the odds for that?

aftering checking the link, i believe the odds for
getting 3-3 in a game of 43 is 12,341 & for 4-4, 123,410

lot better than 1 in 10 14million, but still quite a bit of combinations....

Lottery with 43 numbers

Your numbers are right for a 43-number lottery:
- there are 12,341 combinations of 3 numbers;
- there are 123,410 combinations of 4 numbers.

But the problem remains the same: YOU have to guess, guestimate, deduct, pray, find, know or whatever pleases you what will be the other 2 or 3 numbers.

And don't forget that in a 6/43 lottery, there are only slightly over 6 millions combinations
