LosTed and other new posters click on the 'lottery glossary' button at the bottom of the page. That site gives a definition of most of the abbreviations we use here - good resource :agree:

I asked that same question about a year ago... ...DN = Designated Number. For more explainations on other terms, you can look in the lottery glossary located at the bottom of every page.

George:)

Hello folks,

The question was asked earlier as to why there were so many winners of the last draw, and although pattern betting is a feasible answer I also believe that the fact 23 of the 35 numbers drawn in the previous 5 draws to last Saturday were odd numbers. The winners went with the trend and when 7 19 31 43 45 49 were drawn the winners piled up. The ratio now stands at 25 of the last 35 drawn have been odd numbers. Will the trend continue or is a reversal in order? Just my theory, I'd be interested in any feedback on this. In keeping with this idea, my picks for tonite are:

1 3 7 11 17 24 25 26 29 31 32 34 35 37 38 45 46 47

I've used the odd numbers which have NOT shown in the last 5 draws
I've used some repeat numbers from the last draw
I've used some even numbers from the last 5 draws.
Of course I've left a few out to keep it to 18 numbers.

Good Luck to all.....

Unfortunately, I have found that to be true, based on both my personal experience when I was a newbie and from reading a lot of old posts. It's OK to disagree with a post, but a few people resort to personal insults instead of giving reasons for their viewpoint. IMHO, the key is to keep cool and not escalate any perceived insult.

I note however, that a few people here treat new people on the site unkindly.
