Let's step back George, and read up on what lead to that offensive post and you'll see Pete tearing a strip off a new member, Nipsirc chides in with disapproval of that, Pete calls him p*nis brain, and then Nipsirc retorts with the infamous abbreviation ... it's laughable and sad at the same time ...
I am NOT condoning his use of foul language on this BB (tho I've done it once or twice myself too) but he was obviously provoked .... which is exactly what's been happening here ever since then. You and Pete have been digging, baiting and looking for an excuse to confront him again, and he's been returning the 'favour'.
As far as the supposed ego thing goes, if anybody has that problem they're not the first on this BB, and probably not the last either. But if that resurfaces most thinking ppl will ignore it anyway IMO.
If someone's preds don't measure up, well then that person is no different than most of the rest of the predictors here, I don't really see too many that stand out in that category.
Choosing not to forget old transgressions is your prerogative, BUT as you and Pete and lot of others like to state from time to time, everybody on this BB is equal and no one has the right to tell someone to leave the BB (other than LT). I've also seen the word respect bandied about without any follow-up.
Now I know it looks like I'm taking sides here but that's not it at all ... I am trying to show things from a different perspective and I hope that by doing so this BB will possibly calm down a bit. There has been too much animosity displayed from many sides in the last while, many got involved in the 'turmoil' previous to this one and it almost feels like it's just a continuation of it ... it just never seems to end!
It would be helpful if all involved could ease up for a while and see what happens ... what do you think, can we do that?
