Beaker, one slight correction: GMT is 5hrs ahead of Eastern Standard Time, not 4. Daylight savings doesn't matter, as they have it in UK too, they just get to set it one week earlier than ours. ;)
You know, I always thought it was 5 hours until I went here

23:40:32 Sat Apr 24 2004 in GMT converts to
19:40:32 Sat Apr 24 2004 in Canada/Eastern

DST* is not in effect on this date/time in GMT
DST* is in effect on this date/time in Canada/Eastern
*Daylight Saving Time

Maybe I'm under the mistaken impression that GMT never adjusts for DST :notme:

Beaker, always follow your gut instinct! :)

GMT adjusts for DST and is off (in relation to EST) twice a year for a total of two weeks, as they (UK) change over a week before us each time.

That site is absolutely wrong. You can tune into BBC radio, or live webcasts through the bbc.co.uk site (I'm sure they have the links there, I don't visit the site so don't know where exactly they are) , or just use this site for future reference.

Remember, your gut instinct is a valuable commodity. Feed it well! :D

Congratulations on your belated realization, Sheba. A randomly-generated pick has the same chance of being drawn as any other combination, including 1-2-3-4-5-6. Most of the recent big draws look "weird" to humans and would not have been selected by system players, but when they came up as a Quick Pick selection, the smart players did not reject the random pick and won millions.

Congratulations to all the recent Quick Pick millionaires in Atlantic Canada. Maybe Sheba's random numbers will be next! :dog:

George:)

Try this site guys ;). True GMT (UTC) is used as a reference point and is not adjusted biannually. UK does however adjust for DST like most other places (except Saskatchewan:sleeping: ). It is possible that the BBC refers to UK time as 'GMT' (don't know cuz I don't listen to them). If so they're correct only 1/2 the year :dizzy:.

Cheers

P.S. interesting to note is that SETI does not list Newfoundland time

Here is what my program reports for the next draw along with a colour
code of hits/bonus number we had...
(the bonus number:notme: could show up anywhere)

(either four, three, or five hits most of the time from here) :agree:
01 03 04 05 07 09
10 11 12 13 14 16
17 18 22 23 25 26
27 31 35 36 38 39
42 44 45 46 48 49

No more than three from here is most likely:
(4 hits came from here in last draw)
02 06 08 15 19 20
21 24 28 29 30 32
33 34 37 40 41 43
47

For the last 1000 draws, we had the following results:
[4 and 2]: 340
[3 and 3]: 264
[5 and 1]: 235
[2 and 4]: 087
[6 and 0]: 049
[1 and 5]: 022
[0 and 6]: 003

Good luck to all players:agree2:!

Regards,
George:)
