Well, tickets are $1. I think the other provincial lotteries
have cheaper tickets and therefore lower prizes because of that. Also, by my knowledge, the only provincial lottery that uses a ball machine for it's local 49 draws is Atlantic49.
In my opinion, significantly more players would try those lotteries if they were either televised or used a ball machine. I don't think that would affect-lower any 6/49 sales simply because in my opinion some people stopped playing it after the last - at $2/ ticket price increase, turning to either provincial lotteries, online overseas lotteries or quitted playing lottery at all. At least it would bring into the game many of those who turned to some online lotteries or such, or quitted playing lottery...
