Winning less often in 6/49

Many people I've spoken to lately have said that 6/49 is harder to win since the increase in June....people saying they can't remember the last time they even won 10.00...So I thought I'd check some numbers and see what came up.

In 8/9 draws in August 2003 there were:

39 x 5+ number winners
2154 x 5 number winners
108143 x 4 number winners
1883922 x 3 number winners

In 8/8 draws in August 2004 there were:

36 x 5+ number winners
1537 x 5 number winners
84428 x 4 number winners
1543249 x 3 number winners

Is the game harder or is it because players are spending less that the wins are less frequent.

It sure is more difficult... ...the less played, the less won in the long run... ...if you had 12 numbers selected and 3 or 4 hitters in it and played 1 set there is a good chance you win nothing. Play 20 lines wheeled properly and you will see the net gains skyrocket.

Its not rocket science... ...the plan and expectations from those who raised the price knew about this I'm sure.

For sure George, they are transforming a game/play in a fate thing.

Something is happening similar in Europe, EuroMillions is another fate game.

I don't win as much either these days but that is due to the fact I only buy my 2 lines and thats it. ALthough I did win 10.00 last draw.

If you call them.. They will come!:agree:

The only logical way of possible winning is playing considerable amount of lines. Many people like to play their own lines from many reasons. It might be because of following certain strategy or some sort of superstition. Probably some people don’t like to see certain numbers on their tickets even if these lines are free. Playing several hundreds of personally chosen lines might cost same as two weeks of a nice vacation somewhere in Mexico or such a place, or a couple of all included weekends in some of those casino cities with still a little money to play some sort of lottery there. Therefore, in my opinion the declined number of wining tickets is a result of decreased number of players. Personally, I don’t understand why a player is forced to play the two computer generated lines. Since it is “my way or highway” I have chosen highway so abruptly that still have somewhere a few unclaimed small winning tickets dated before the new tickets prices.

WELL I FOR ONE HAVE NOTICED THAT I HAVE A MORE DIFFICULT TIME WINNING ANYTHING ON 6/49 NO MATTER HOW MANY TKTS I BUY!!! IT SOUNDS SILLY TO SAY BUT EVERY YEAR ON MY BIRTHDAY OR CLOSE TO IT I WOULD BUY A 6/49 TKT AND ALWAYS WON 10 DOLLARS, BUT THIS YEAR WITH THIS NEW FORMAT I GOT ZILCH

SO I HAVE NOW STOPPED PURCHASING
AS MANY AND JUST BUY 2 SETS OF NUMBERS

I SAY THEY HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO MAKE IT HARDER TO WIN !!!

A simple math: for example, before the new prices 15 millions of tickets were sold. That means 15 millions of lines were in play.

The new arrangement 1 + 2 computer generated lines created that 5 millions of tickets should be sold to make 15 millions of lines in play.

Therefore, the 5 millions of present tickets should have the same chances as 15 million tickets before, because it is the same number of combinations and the lottery numbers are random.

Therefore, if number of 3, 4, and 5 prizes as Karnac says is somewhat like 10% less than before , probably only something like 4 millions of tickets were sold per draw, compared to 15 millions of tickets before…

May I ask a question or two?

Why are you winning less now, I've read some of your previous posts where you claim that "GH" SmartLuck was just the one to use, or is it falling to the wayside?

Will you and all the others that uses GH Smartluck be honest and tell me that it realy works. I can't by in "$", I must multiply by 7.

Is it realy worth the money?

Please be honest.

Weren't they protected enough by the 1 : 14 million odds? I printed once all the possible lines and it took a pretty long time. :agree:

However, the game was much more interesting before despite the odds....and might become quite interesting again if they consider altering it to any 3 lines for a toonie, computer generated or not…I wouldn’t mind if there are 80 millions lines in play with possibility of sharing a JP with the other 2-3 lucky guys…

Welcome to the forum.
I am probably winning less because I am spending less....I have all but eliminated playing Wed. draws.This was simply economics. GH software is far more productive using it the way I've described....so if you have it this is a very good method to use. Once you chart and colorcode the draws you see the opportunites.....you will see what draws to play(ie: when to play) and when to sit out. It's a tool that works very well. Certain lotteries seem to hit better than others and Super 7 in Canada seems more profitable at this time using my method. Don't for a moment think that the software is not worth the money if you haven't purchased it. I use it daily. You don't need the books she sells , just the software as it comes with a good manual. I purchased the wheel program also as it is really handy when used with the main program. The statistical content alone and ease of operation sells this software...my method just opens new doors. There have been other members using it with various degrees of success so I know the method has potential and can hit big with a decent wheel. As I told everyone practice on paper and see for yourself. The software is worth every cent. I certainly am not ready to let the method fall to the wayside, I'm just getting better at picking my spots and waiting for a $20 million JP to take a good shot at it with my syndicate where I'll have 500+ dollars a draw to play. I will hit a major prize using this method as long as I stay focused on this and not become distracted by less than stellar results should they occur. I encourage you spend the money, practice the method and post back with your results. You will see my point when you see the opportunites.
