Where is GillesD

Hi BlouBul,
I have not seen GillesD around here or on any other forum for a very long time now.
This question has been posted a few times now and no-one has come forward and said that they have seen or heard from him.
The thing is you think the worst because he was such a big contributer and part of this forum.

I’m trying not to think of the worst. It was the same with Springbok, for more than 2 years I tried to get in touch with him. Eventually his daughter came across my last email to him and she informed me that he had passed away and that was very shocking. If he is still alive but has chosen not to answer my emails well that’s his prerogative to do so. I was only asking about him as he just went silent.

and I mentioned that perhaps the administrators of this forum could shed some light on this. There was no response to this, so PAB I hope you have better luck. I woud also like to know what happenned to Nick Koutras too.

GillesD made some great contributions to this board and helped many with Excel and Lottery questions.
I got all excited to see PAB's post on this thread, then I realized that it was from 2012! Ah well.
I too hope that GillesD is still out there enjoying life -- maybe with a fat bank balance from his big lottery win?

Hmm... here's one for LT...
Forum sends out birthday greetings, but doesn't necessarily post them in the forum announcement section for that purpose. Mine isn't announced here, but I do get an email.
How many of our missing members have the message returned as invalid or no longer in service? Does LT keep track? My way of thinking is that when they get the message it might jolt their interest to return, but if it's returned they may no longer be around and that could be a more difinitive answer to threads such as this one... Where is GillesD???
