And notice that this Wednesday's (July 21st) jackpot is an unusual $9 million! Isn't the cycle supposed to be: $4 million, then $10 million, then $17 million if I recall correctly?

Looks like they can't guarantee the jackpots anymore, probably due to disappointing ticket sales (thanks to the doubling in price) plus general jackpot fatigue.

I swear, I'm going to stop playing 649 the moment I win a jackpot. That oughta teach 'em!
