Wheeling numbers

Hi all,

This might be a stupid question but is there a "good" and a "bad" way to wheel your numbers?

Eg. Is the result the same if you wheel your numbers from smallest to largest than if you mix your numbers. (1,20,4,15 instead of 1,2,3,4)

Hope someone can help.

Cheers,

Depends on the balance of wheel...

If the wheel is front loaded is should put your best bet in the begginning, if it is well balanced they should have an equal chance!

From someone {ME} who has had ALL SIX winning #s in my set, but the chosen *bad* wheel gained me $ZERO.... my answer is:
YES

A good wheel would have put all 6 #s in one line. :D  ;)

I'll agree!
The problem with wheels that do not
give the same weight on every N-tuplet
is that leave up to the player to select
and put the number of the wheel in order to give the best prize.

But if we knew which of the numbers of the wheel will come up then why we would need a wheel?

Isn't that a Paradox?

I agree

Thank you all for the quick replies.

The problem that I have is that when using a wheel I'll sometimes end up with a combination like 1 2 3 4 48 49 which for me is wasting a line since the odds against such a line is big.

I've also encountered the problem of having 5 or more of the numbers in my set of 20 but only hit with 3 of them in the wheel. That's why I asked the question.

At least I know the next draw's numbers will be between 1 and 49. :p:

I never reduce the wheel's guarantee - ever.

I either create a wheel with a smaller guarantee or play them all.

That 1-2-3-4-48-49 could be good for 3 or 4 number hit.

If all you do is play for the jackpot then you are correc that ticket is out in the tails

scroodge, you might want to check into Lottery Director sw, which has an EXCELLENT filtering of wheels which would enable you to keep your 1-2-3-4 from coming up together. It's a great sw & it's free!

Beaker, I don't take out any line in a wheel as well. It's just that the chances of getting more than 3 or 4 for such a line is not good. But as you said you never know.

Thanks again for all the replies !!

yes eliminating number sets in wheels will destroy your win guarantee as an example wouldnt it be terrible to have only played 30 numbers of the possible 42 combinations only to find your minimum win guarantee of 4 numbers in the remaining 12 sets you eliminated this is for an example wheel 18 numbers 4/6 in 42 combos
