perhaps they make 2 draws, then assign the draws to each game according to the lowest payout ha!

anyway, lotteries typically do test draws as well. I've actually seen test draw histories for some lottery games.

you are right, could be beneficial to analyze everything comin out of the damn lottery machines...at least I'd be interested in it to rule out some numbers based upon short term probability.

cheers!

yes this could be the missing link in finding true statistical winning numbers! my thinking is whats the point in charting if i'am not getting all the draws! the patterns found wont hold up otherwise! does anyone know the official time of the ontario 49 and the canda 6/49 draw ??? i would like to know which numbers to input first !!!

well charting the staggered draws is still beneficial.

numbers have to follow probability to some degree no matter what.

I've been away for quite awhile, getting older, and watching the years go by... and every 6 months or so I get an email because of a posting to Lotto forum thread. So I stop and peruse a little what's been posted in the meanwhile. And this post caught my eye.

Well yeah! So that explains why the numbers I expected to hit in Ontario's 649 quite often hit the Canada 649, lol! I figured that this might be the case.
Luckyhorse, are you sure and how did you come across this piece of information? (Meanwhile I don't doubt that it's true... :crap:)
It makes things a lot more complicated, that's for sure...

Q2: Why do the LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO SUPER 7 draws look so different from the regional games such as ONTARIO 49, LOTTARIO, PICK 3, etc?

A: LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO SUPER 7 draws are managed by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (ILC). The ILC members are all the Canadian lottery jurisdictions including OLG. ILC draws are held using a Ryo-Catteau Tulipe ball machine. The ball loader can only accommodate 49 balls and the display chute only seven balls and one bonus ball.

All OLG draws are held using a Ryo-Catteau Lantana ball machine. The same model was used for WINTARIO and LOTTARIO draws in the 70's. Custom made loaders can dispense the balls in various combinations depending on the game, for example 45 balls for LOTTARIO, 70 for DAILY KENO or 77 for PAYDAY. As well, the display chutes can accommodate 20 balls for DAILY KENO.
----

The above is quoted from OLG's site, and clearly states that different machines are used for the 2 lottos in question. I haven't yet seen any facts to the contrary ... have seen a claim, but not facts.
