Validity of Emails Stating You are a Winner

I HAVE A QUESTION WHICH I WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME FEEDBACK ON. HAS ANYONE RECEIVED AN EMAIL STATING THAT YOU HAD WON A SUM OF MONEY AND IF SO WHAT HAPPENED?

here is a clue, if it dont state your name , or you dont recall actually entering the lottery, then you prob aint won anything.

the standard operastion of said scams is to say the money will be released once you pay the tax or some such.

its just trying to seperate fools from their cash. bin it with all the other spam.

oh and tell ya buddies as well, no need to let anyone get suckered.

Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP are warning people about e-mail scams after one man lost thousands of dollars. Constable Sean Reynolds says the man was told he won 2 million dollars but had to deposit a cheque to cover certain costs. Reynolds says there isn't much hope the money will be recovered
