I thought I would start a thread for the UK Lotto HotPick numbers.
For tonights draw, draw 1,164 and draw date 31st of August 2013, I fancy numbers 21 & 23, so we will see!!!

Well at least I won £5 because I also did the numbers as singles so I ended up with a profit of £2.

The hotpicks game is played by electing to choose either

one ball
two balls
three balls
four balls
five balls

Which will match the Saturday or Wednesday Uk lotto draw main balls. All your selections must match for a win. The playing slip or on line form is set up accordingly to only allow you to enter your chosen number of balls. Because you are not using a full 6 ball entry to try and make your match, this changes the odds of achieving your win from the normal 6/49 consolation prize level. Camelot pay out half the odds or less if you win. Bookmakers pay better odds.

Game ----- Match ------ - Odds -- Prize
HotPick 1 ---- 1 number 9:1---- £5
HotPick 2---- 2 numbers 79:1 ---- £40
HotPick 3---- 3 numbers 922:1---- £450
HotPick 4---- 4 numbers 14,126:1---- £7,000
HotPick 5---- 5 numbers 317,814:1---- £130,000

The hotpicks game was a late addition to the UK lotto, thats why the hotpicks game number does not match the Lotto number from which the results are taken.
Saurdays result Draw 1846 was :- 04 14 15 17 21 31 bonus 48, hence PAB would have matched one of his pick 2 (had he bet them) and lost. By doing two pick ones he won one of them.

Thanks for explaining that Frank :thumb:

I have just made a boo boo. I have been out all day giving training and because I was running late on the way home I popped into the Lotto outlet and put on the numbers 23 & 32, for 1 Double and 2 Singles, BUT I have just got home and when I looked at my ticket noticed that it is for Saturday and NOT for tonight.
I am usually more vigilant than this but that about sums up the day I've had.
Lets's hope neither are drawn tonight but BOTH are drawn on Saturday.
Knowing my luck, it will be the other way round

Well very disappointing result, but I think I will play the numbers out for two more draws to see what happens :agree: .
