Trying Keno for the first time

Hello all

I have been reading and learning here so I thought i would take the plunge and try Keno.

I did all my homework and took hints from everyone here. When I got to the small convenience store neither clerk could help me fill out the forms. We tried everything but it would not go through.
Too bad, as I had picked the one lot of the 1 - 10 #'s and many came up. Boo hoo.

I will go back today to a different shop where the fellow is more 'with it' I did not want to make a fuss with the other two young girls but REALLY!! :dang:

Wish me luck!

Try....

One thing that might have prevented the ticket from going through is that you must pick your numbers...OK, but then you have to mark off how many of those numbers you are playing in the side bar numbers. If you don't, the computer is having a hard time figuring it out. Hmmm..

Of course don't forget to put a wager.

Tip: If you do want to play a quick pick... select the quick pick box, select the amount to wager and select the box to the left giving the amount of numbers to quick pick. You do not have to quick pick 10 numbers. You could actually quick pick 2 numbers by selecting the 2 in the amount of numbers to play!

Words of advice... my opinion...
Keep track of winning numbers, either using MS Excel or similar spreadsheet. Layout the numbers in each box seperately along a horizontal line (1-70) Fill in the winning numbers.

Use a color scheme to color your winning numbered boxes. It's a lot easier to see the combos. I mean color scheme by using one color to represent 1-10, another for 11-19, another again for the 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70!

Compare where the numbers are going. Sometimes it is evident, other times they play with your head. Don't worry... they will slip up eventually allowing you to see what numbers are to come in using a simple line or path along the numbers that come up.

Play numbers in sequence a lot. 16,17,18 or 67,68,69 etc...
Last night the numbers were:
07 08 09 10 11 12 Big Money Paying Sequence!!!
16 18 22 23 27
29 30 31 Sequence!!!
35 37 47 58 60 64
Also notice the 10,30,60 match of solid numbers!!!
Again: 7,27,37,47 WOW... could of, would of, should have!!!

So play with a little creative number choosing and you should be fine with a winner every so often. Everyone seems to have their streaks.

Good Luck:D

Keno - good advice

Hello there

Thanks for all the good advice.

I thought I did all that you suggested when trying to buy the tickets, however, a new clerk in training and the other one a bit dizzy. I would have won something for sure but not much I can do about it now.

I got it all sorted out today. I was in two different shops and both clerks told me that a lot of people are winning lately on Keno.

I am doing as you suggested ie keeping a spreadsheet and marking with colour the combos that win.

It almost goes against all I thought about lotteries ie playing the same of similar combos if they won recently.

I will report in if I have any real luck.

Thanks for the help. It is much appreciated.
