think outside the box

Well everyone we all try to find a way of winning the big one but so far not much success. Maybe we all need to think outside the box, let’s use the way computers spit out random numbers, if you know how this is done sorry but if you are not sure read on.

Well all computers are logic machines they can't spit out random stuff i.e. numbers so how is this done?

Well they all need what is called a seed "starting number”
Then this seed is entered in a complicated math formula and the result of witch is sent to the procedure is calling for it so if you know the algorithm and the seed you can predict the next winning number.
This is done in slots, video poker and any other gambling game that has a computer for a brain.

Now I think that the best computer ever is; here is the outside the box thinking, nature. Well think about it the universe or nature is the best computing machine it handles uncountable calculations every seconds so we should try to study all the lotteries in the world closely and try to find what nature uses for a seed and then figure out the algorithm to give out the combinations there must be a correlation there if thousands of people work together we may find that algorithm.

Hey why not try something new

You are jokin', aren't you? :eek2:

Well, whatever...

Nature may have used for seed something which's (or what's) result may be called randomness, for a random event...and so far a random event couldn't be explained.

and in lottery that may be mostly used as an unknown outcome and out of certain odds - possibilities.

And lottery may use odds, possibly adjusted with ticket prices correlated to some prizes...and try to simulate randomness ...Some years ago, commonly for a lotto logo were used balls with numbers.. still at this forum, in the left upper corner...Not sure if lotteries may use balls with numbers as a logo, while drawing numbers using a computer..

therefore, randomness may be close or possibly even about same as pure natural randomness, while certain odds, ticket prices and prizes may be artificial, but all may vary more than slightly in a various lottery games...

And if you trying to search for a possibly existing explanation of a random event, then try to find books or a class where someone may be trying to explain something like randomness with unbroken chain of prior occurrence, which is called determinism, I think...

therefore, you may also need an info what kind of rain or climate were 1000 years ago around that material lottery balls in your game are made from...

really wonder why some lottery softwares didn't include a color of a RNG - computer, like when tracking numbers in such game:confused:
