I run a small syndicate, (5) buying 19 tickets for the UK 6-49 saturday draw. I use robert perkis 2/49 plan, on the basis that it covers all the numbers, and hopefully the guarantee of at least 2 numbers on one line(in practice usually 4-7) will give as a small head start. We are in our fifth week, and have won a miserable £10.00!
Does anyone know of a better plan for us to use for our 19 tickets money? (for the lotto only please!) :dizzy:

The above noted system was designed to cover the 6/49 game
with the less possible blocks(tickets)

You can use the following procedure to play with 19
tickets that can cover 55 numbers in total instead of 49

-Select 5 groups of numbers with each group
containing 9 numbers each
-Select a 5th group of 10 numbers

So altogether you have selected 5*9+10=55 numbers

Apply the development given below to each 9 number group


01 02 03 04 06 09
02 03 04 05 07 08
01 02 05 07 08 09



Apply the below to the 10 number group

01 03 04 05 07 10
02 06 07 08 09 10
02 04 05 06 08 09
01 02 04 06 08 09


Both of the development lines are c(n,6,3,4) designs

Now you will have your 19 tickets and theoretically you have covered 55
numbers instead of 49

Bear with me as I am new to playing with lottery plans. The perkis system (below) uses about 90 numbers to achive its aim. You mention c(n,6,3,4) designs, I know that n is a variable, what does the rest signify? B.

Procedure as follows:
1. Select/define your 1st Group of 9 numbers
2. Repeat above step 4 more times for a total of 5 such Groups.
3. Select/define your 6th Group of 10 numbers.
4. Replace the tickets given
01 02 03 04 06 09
02 03 04 05 07 08
01 02 05 07 08 09

with the 9 numbers of each group of step 1&2
5. Replace the tickets given below
01 03 04 05 07 10
02 06 07 08 09 10
02 04 05 06 08 09
01 02 04 06 08 09
with your 10 number group.

Example:
G1=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
G2=10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18
G3=19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27
G4=28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36
G5=37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44.45

The 9 number groups

G6=46,47,48,49,1,10,19,28,37,39

Now swap the numbers of step 4&5 with
your respective group of numbers.

The advantage of this system is that you play
55 numbers instead of 49 and you guaranteed the same success!

The reason for that is that the L(49,6,2,6)=19 above
is made of 4*10 numbers & 1*9 numbers for a total of 49

If you have MS Excel I can provide you with a SS to this
very quickly and accurately.

1. Builds Designs you specify
2. Stores databases of "wheels" to be used uppon your request
3. You can add your frequently used wheels and they can be used uppon your request to build your lines
4. Checks your tickets vs. the results of the Lottery
