clocks,clocks,clocks,tic,toc,tic,toc

on account of i live on a small island where we have out own island time - as well as, daylight saving time, normal standard time - TIDE time, pacific west coast tidal stuff - and then we have Luthers' time - he lives down the road a bit and shows up whenever....well, already i can see a problem,,,,,,and, by the way, when i wake up at 6 in the morning ( which used to be 7 in the morning a few days ago ) it's just as light as it was the day before except by a few minutes because of the earth rotation and tilt around the sun......so i get my outside work done anyway and it don't matter much what you wanna call it........anyway,,,the deal with me is this,,,,,,i am going to take my own sweet time in changing the clocks around......maybe a few minutes each day, or, just maybe, maybe i'll join Newfoundland for a while and just change the first half hour.......heck, they in Newfoundland are on the East coast, me am on the West coast, maybe this way at least we'll be closer together, sort of like time travelling..........mmmmmmmmmmmmmgotta go...... ......where is that symbol for rum.......

sorry but i think they should alter it...but only once then leave it alone....i live in edmonton canada and even when i lived in montreal i was running into the same problem , it s winter, something outside has to be done and i have to do it. it has been not too cold on that day so i think mabey i wont freeze my but off trying to get this thing done. then i realize that with the time change and it being winter, the drive to work was in the dark and the sun will go down at 4 or 4 30 ,and as soon as the sunlight is gone youre freezing your butt off. so either this thing that has to be done waits till spring or i finally go and do this thing and when i come back in the house i cant feel any part of my body anymore and it takes a hot shower and a couple of hours before i feel like im not cold anymore... so my suggestion is to change the time by two hours so the latest the sun goes down in the winter is 6 or 6 30 and the leave it that way because you know what , you drive to work in the dark either way.and in the summer the days are so much longer that i dont think it would make a difference. i also think that this would cure at least 50 percent of winter depression, i think most of it is caused by never seeing the sun, at least this way you can bask in its rays by a window or something.

If time remained fixed, then work schedules could be adjusted within the sunrise to sunset range.

If I ran a company in a region with such extreme temperature fluctuations, I'd definately adjust the schedules accordingly for the well-being of everyone.

what a riot

in the 600's AD, the Catholic Pope decided to fix the calendar. today, he said, is September 1, 615, and tomorrow will be September 16, 615..........people in the streets rioted, convinced that the church was decreasing their life-span by two weeks....and in those days, people only lived to their late 20's or early 30's anyway.....and, the earth was still flat.....:rolling:
